Your "Nom de Plume"...why?

I chose 'till' because I come from a long line of checkout chicks. I am still on the till at Nyngan Foodworks, not the most exciting career in the world but it pays the bills and everyone's friendly. And I have some beautiful Linden trees in my yard which I am very proud of, and I never got round to correcting the typo of Lindemann to Lindenman

Always assumed you had German heritage 🤣

It's my stage name.... I come from the bush where everyone knows everyone and things I got up to always seemed to get back to my mother. So I started using an alias and telling people (mainly girls) my name was Peter. It's actually Andrew. After a while people started to catch on so I then started telling people I was Trevor. When Trevor was getting a bad reputation my mate suggested Pat. Peter, Andrew and Trevor combined. About that time I was in a karaoke competition and made the finals, they thought my name was Pat and wanted to know my last name, I looked down at my can of Johnny Walker and it stuck. What started as a stupid alias has now become my nickname and I still use it as my email address.

Family tradition
Surname- Newman
I grew up calling my pop (Oldman)
as my father and uncle’s did and when he past it went to the next eldest in the family, 10 years ago that was me so I now have 3 sons and 4 grandsons calling me Oldman now.
And yes the grandkids get weird looks when strangers here them calling me 😂

Back when the anti-vax and flat earther types were in full force and some upset about others having changed their user names, changing mine to something different seemed the contrarian thing to do.

Originally Formerguest as a single word when I decided to join after posting here as a guest for a while, as for a period back then one could post as a guest without registering an account.

Reading some of these nickname explanations makes me wish I had actually been more creative, sadly I just was lazy & used my name.
Really?

I could have sworn it was because your best friend Krossy & you were both young lovable, huggable type of guys.
And everything is to the back with a little slack,
'Cause inside out, it's wiggada wiggada wiggada wack.
