Your preferred new WT coach?

In all honesty, given our squad any rookie coach would have rocks in his head not having a crack, especially if they can break up the mates for life mentally that permeates this club. Our roster oozes talent, but they're missing a little bit mentally.

Am i the only one who thinks they went overboard with that after 05? Sure it was something special that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives, but you haven't heard other sides since take this kind of mentality that far

Jim Dymock, he wouldn't be afraid to tell some players what he really thinks.

He was reluctant to take up bulldogs when moore was sacked… Doubt he would take on WT under the pump (huge expectation to suceed)

Leo Epifania for one out of left field. I had the pleasure of listening to Leo's half time speech a few years ago at Lidcombe Oval. I still have trouble sleeping

The man has passion for sure!

By tribal nature most clubs tend to select coaches/ administrators from people that have been associated with the club . We broke the mould with Tim 10 years ago and hope we continue the trend for 2013\. Not sure if The Walters/Ryan/Langer rumour is legit but if it is at least we know the coaching structure will be upfront and it seems to have the components for success.

Agree totally ,my only query would be why Bennet sacked Walters at the Broncos.
Wouldn't mind some one like Tony Smith or Mick Potter as both have experience and hopefully new ideas coming from a different league.

Maybe Happy can shed some light on Walters/Bennett situation?

Only one coach there has runs on the board with the currant squad. Has to be Folks. Brown is a little bit too much one of the boys for mine.

Don't want anyone who has had connections to the place, so that rules out Folkes and Gentle. Don't really want a rookie in the NRL, so that rules out Parish, Walters,Potter, Dymock. Don't want a coach with a checkered past like Elliott or Taylor. Want a coach some some experience, who is ready to rip in and prove themselves again, one with no connections to the place, but the experience to capitalise on a great opportunity.

Daniel Anderson or Nathan Brown for me.

Maybe when he was at Saints and he wasn't even 30 and coaching ex-teammates. I would imagine he's matured a lot since then

I have gone Brown, but Folkes,Walters or Anderson would be alright as well, wonder who Robbie wants?

Therein lies the problem.

Mate, no NRL coach gets hired without the CEO getting the opinion of the senior playing group.

I don't believe a rookie coach will work. One of TIm's attributes was his ability to manage a team and a very complex and often delicate board situation (well for 10 years up to now). Any choice of coach is going to have to have to be an excellent man manager as well as DIPLOMAT.

Some of the suggested field doesn't inspire me with much confidence.

Anderson or Folkes are about the only two worth considering
