I would go with this although I'm hearing Reynolds won't be ready for the Dogs clash .

Thomson
MWZ
Marsters
Fonua
Kev
Reynolds
Brooks
Packer
Liddle
Mautalino
Lawrence
McQueen
Eiso

Tui
Aloiai
Grant
Chee Kam

However, I have little doubt that Cleary will stick with ET, Marshall and Rochow

100% right he blow like a hurricane last time, he needs 2-3 weeks in reggies.

Okay, I may get shot down, but I think:

1) Rochow and McQueen should not see FG again unless we have injuries..both are outright plodders.
2) The Taylor at 9 experiment should end now! its lock only for Taylor,
3) Time Benji went back to the bench where we was always going to play from
4) Eiso, Twal, Benji, Aloiai/MCK should make up the bench
\
\
Our backrow should be:

11 - Lawrence
12- MCK/Aloiai
13-Taylor

Our centres should be:

3- Marsters
4- Fonua

Wingers:

2- MWZ/Nofo
5- Thompson

FB:
1) Lolohea,
\
\
Losing 4 from our last 5 has been poor!.
Stick to that as the preferred side IC and we just may get back on the winning track…

I don't understand why everyone is dropping Taylor for

He isn't a 9 , not his fault he is playing the amount of minutes he is playing there

I thought he will play the 1st 20 , that's fine

Yeah, maybe twenty five, but when Merrin was marched, that for me was the time to bring him on.

It would have prevented the horrible pass to Brooks

I need to watch it again , but Brooks did seem very wide of the ruck as the 1st receiver from 1st thought

Horror pass though

The game has changed a lot , that 20-25 minute mark is the fatigue stage for the props , that is when most clubs head to the interchange

Benji can get stuffed honestly, I'm not taking one of my forwards off the bench to have him on there. All these people saying reynolds won't be fit enough to play and he needs 2-3 weeks to be fit enough. I think he's been ok since round 9 maybe still injured a bit but has been training with the boys since then.

did u not see his one and only appearance for us he was on the field for 10 min and was blowing like a hurricane, but dont let facts get in the way, stick him in and see the damage it does when he leaves holes in the line. give the bloke 2-3 weeks in reggies then throw him in.

I just wanna see Tui at 6 again. Last 20 mins of every game Benji just looks groggy, his passes become below ordinary

16.Masters - he would destroy teams of the bench in the forwards
17.Twai

so much impact of the bench and i think alolai and masters would destroy teams after they come on with some big runs
i miss having big line breaking forwards on our bench like we had with potter

My question is who has played 5/8 the last month or so. The way i see it the position has been non existent.

Anything would be an improvement.

Taylor was abysmal at dh no way in the world i could pick him there again.I am yet to see him go well at 9

I'm yet to see Taylor go well anywhere
Has Lolohea done something I'm unaware of?
Why so many people picking him?

Unfortunately Liddle has already shown that he is not robust enough to play in the middle, call the experiment a failure and look somewhere else, Sue is not a good enough player for the rest of the team to play a man short frequently, Grant is as good , no HIA history to my knowledge

Mitch Rein
This guy was in the mix to wear the no9 for the Blues a few years ago, he's now a depth hooker at the worst team in the comp I'm sure he'd love a first grade gig at a club on the way up. Throw him a lifeline, he's too good for reggies

Yeah I’ve seen your posts! I get that you’re not keen on Marshall. I personally think he’s not as bad as you’re stating but that’s not the point. If Marshall is not the answer, who is?
At present, neither Liddle nor Reynolds can play 80 do we need to carry 2 utilities on the bench if they both play - to me that is madness but still doesn’t solve the problem.

So alternatives are Lolohere at 6 with Reynolds playing 14, Liddle 9\. More problems here because none of these players is ready for 80 minutes.

Gamble at 6? Not an improvement in my opinion. Godinet? No way!

Lawrence could play 6 but that weakens our back row options and is not smart.

Taylor at 9 isn’t working so the only choice I see is Liddle at 9, Reynolds 6 and Marshall st 14 with Reynolds moving to 9 to spell Liddle. But this is not an immediate fix because Reynolds can’t play 80.

So for the next couple of weeks I really don’t know. Maybe Reynolds plays in reggies until he can play 80\. That’s means Marshall remains 6.

That’s why I say it’s easy to say drop Marshall but if you can find a better alternative I take my hat off to you ?

A lot of people say Reynolds getting injured was the best thing for Benji but I think it has been the worst thing for Benji.

He trained all off season as a bench player then suddenly finds he has to do it fulltime. His mentality has changed in the last few weeks and our old Benji has re-appeared because of it.

Once Reynolds gets match fit at 5/8 you will see a different Benji come on. The Benji we had for the first month.
