I notice a couple of teams have Reynolds at 6 and no Marshall in the 17\. My question is who is going to play five-eighth when Reynolds runs out of gas?
My question is who has played 5/8 the last month or so. The way i see it the position has been non existent.
Anything would be an improvement.
Yeah I’ve seen your posts! I get that you’re not keen on Marshall. I personally think he’s not as bad as you’re stating but that’s not the point. If Marshall is not the answer, who is?
At present, neither Liddle nor Reynolds can play 80 do we need to carry 2 utilities on the bench if they both play - to me that is madness but still doesn’t solve the problem.
So alternatives are Lolohere at 6 with Reynolds playing 14, Liddle 9\. More problems here because none of these players is ready for 80 minutes.
Gamble at 6? Not an improvement in my opinion. Godinet? No way!
Lawrence could play 6 but that weakens our back row options and is not smart.
Taylor at 9 isn’t working so the only choice I see is Liddle at 9, Reynolds 6 and Marshall st 14 with Reynolds moving to 9 to spell Liddle. But this is not an immediate fix because Reynolds can’t play 80.
So for the next couple of weeks I really don’t know. Maybe Reynolds plays in reggies until he can play 80\. That’s means Marshall remains 6.
That’s why I say it’s easy to say drop Marshall but if you can find a better alternative I take my hat off to you ?
