 at the Lui hate. Seriously, just

90% of people on here literally have no idea from what I have read.

:roll

:crazy

Moh I'm most probably one of the posters you are refering to - but it's not hate Robert Lui week.
IMO and plenty of others he isn't producing anything a real first grade haflback needs to do on a consistent basis.
Now tell me he played good against Canberra and good against the Dragons last year .. ho hum - there's consistency for you.
You'd stay in firsts a long time in any other team - not.

You see, what plenty of people forget and someone just pointed out, the kid is 21\. He is BY FAR the best option we have and he has EVERYTHING a halfback needs to have. Consistency is the only issue, I think everyone can agree on that. That's also pretty much a team problem.

What I have a problem with is people demanding change as soon as someone has a bad game or two.. it happens WAY too often here. The last couple of weeks the whole team played poorly, not just Lui.

I'm able to accept a bad day at the office. It happens. Even with the best of players. Consistency for Lui will come with experience. Give him time, he is definitely the best halfback at the club. And I'm a big fan of Miller, he'll just have to bide his time for now.

GOOD ON YOU MOH. Let's not be like the Blues Origin selectors were. Obviously not sticking to the game plan is the big problem at the moment. We ALL gotta give our young guys a break, i doubt they are arrogant about their performance. If anything some try too hard which stuffs them up & they make mistakes, they don't have the same control yet as the older guys do. You can tell on the field by their faces how bad they feel when they screw up. Will be interesting to see who Sheens names for Dragons game.
As for Benji, dropping to the BENCH is the most laughable thing ever. Benj will never be predictable, we love the brilliance so you gotta go with the rest of it. If you want predictable, straight forward footy then we'll be playing them on Sun(no i'm not saying Dragons aren't a great team just a little dull is all).
Not necessarily for this wk but BEAU definetly needs to be brought back into the side, one rough game just back from injury & dropped to the bench, isn't going to help his confidence. I know Utai is in his spot but i think Beau & Mitch could get a good thing going while Lote still off.
Yeh if injured players not 100% DON"T PLAY THEM, their first game back is never usually 100% anyway.
Like Gordon Tallis just said on Fox pre-game show "Everyone expects their halves to play like Joey, Darren, Thurston etc, but you can't expect them to be good till they play atleast 100 games".

That is a rather interesting team BB - I like it, particularly your explanation of Marshall - seeing Moltzen in the halves again would be interesting…

Although its the kind of experimentation I would try against someone like the sharks or the raiders, not the most genuine title contenders in the dragons.

I would have put Moltzen at No 6 (Note: Joke at my own expense)

I was thinking of that too, but that would mean putting another back on the bench!
