For all those people wanting Big T on the wing seriously he has more errors then any other player i have ever seen. Did none of you watch the Foundation Cup.

Btw Koroibete is fine and will play. Mark my word.

Thank you Doctor !

Koroibete is injured and will be replaced by Utai.

Bodene Thompson is back from suspension this week but I can't see any further changes from last weeks winning team.

How bad is Koroibete B&W ??

Reddy, moltzen and tedesco is a light back three. It will make it that little bit harder to get out of our own end.

It is light but with a bit of space Teddy can pinch a fair few meters. Moltzen has to run it back hard this week and our centers will probably be taking more hitups than usual (both make good meters).

Wests Tigers winger Matt Utai has been cleared to return from a neck injury in Thursday night's match against Manly at Blue Tongue Stadium, offsetting the loss of Marika Koroibete. Utai and James Tedesco are under consideration by Tigers coach Michael Potter to replace Koroibete, who may be out for up to three months with a foot injury. Tigers officials have confirmed that the Fiji winger will not play against the Sea Eagles. Tedesco, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in the opening match of the 2012 season, has been starring at fullback in NSW Cup.

Be very interesting to see who is named to replace Koro. If Utai is fit then you assume he gets a chance to make amends for his last start shocker. However, having been hooked off the field vs the Knights one wonders weather he should play his way back into first grade. Obviously the mail this morning suggests Teddy is in line for the gig now and to be honest, that's the way i'd prefer we'd go. We don't lose too much by replacing one inexperienced winger with another, albeit a fullback.

Tempted to punt Moltz for Teddy and bring Nofo in, but I refrained from blooding players against a side like Manly. Was also tempted to move Bell to lock and Blair to front row, but he is improving and getting more involved at lock and I would assume that Potter wouldn't want to mess with that.

Without Koro we're gonna need some punch out of dummy 1/2 & a lot more running from dummy 1/2 so this is the team i would run with

1.Moltzen
2.Tedesco
3.Lawernce
4.Ayshford
5.Reddy
6.Marshall
7.Miller
8.Buchanan
9.Farah
10.Woods
11.Fulton
12.Pettybourne
13.Blair

14.Iosefa
15.Anasta
16.BMM
17.Bell

I know its not a big bench but i think the key to beating Manly is quick play the balls & running out of dummy 1/2

Utai has been selected

Potter's Preview - Manly Sea Eagles
Mick Potter has revealed exclusively to Wests Tigers Members that Matt Utai will return from a neck injury for this Thursday’s clash with Manly at Bluetongue Stadium.

Utai will come onto the wing to replace the injured Marika Koroibete who is out indefinitely with a foot injury.

“Koroibete will be a big loss, he’s been very exciting out there on the wing and has scored a few tries,” Potter said.

“Luckily we have Utai returning from a neck injury.”

Potter has been impressed with rookie prop Jack Buchanan’s form in the first three rounds.

“When you think that our pack's age is relatively young compared to the NRL standard, Jack Buchanan has been going fantastic,” Potter said.

“I'm happy with his work rate and with what he does out there.”

“It's a really tough job to be up against people who are older than him but he's showing that he's strong enough and willing enough.”

Stay tuned for the full team that will be announced later this afternoon on weststigers.com.au

I can see why Utai could be useful with ball in hand, however this can only be a disaster with Manly's kicking game.

God help us.
