Ws Groat injured?
If he wouldnt play him against the Chooks I doubt we'll see him over the next two weeks, maybe sometime over the last 4 rounds.

Lui needs to be dropped, he's not even NSW Cup material!
Moltzen should have been our 7 from Round 1.
Brown is a solid #1 and Ryan deserves his spot…
Utai had massive impact off the bench and is like an extra foward anyway=4 fowards on the bench!

Tiggggerss!

I'm amazed to see how many people have brown at fullback even though molten has been very good the last 2 weeks. Brown is the answer at fullback even though he is a great deffender and awesome under the high ball, I'm yet to c him break a tackle. And I also think lui didn't have his worst game, set up 2 ov the tries and only missed 3 tackles I think which means his defense is improving.

Regardless of the rest of the team, can you imagine Lui at half again? If so, put me down for 3 tries for Watmough, 3 for Glenn Stewart and 100 missed tackles for Lui. He will have no hope of stopping their back rowers who will run at him and exploit him all night.

I hope you're wrong about Lui Swordy but I fear your point is valid. Also I feel sorry for the forward(s) placed next to him to 'protect' him in defence as he/they will be buggered at the end of the game. The big manly forwards will run at Lui all night and for a change they will have a shot at Benji as well just to mix it up. I hope I am proven to be wrong as I travelling up to Gosford for this one and would like nothing better than to beat Manly, hopeful but not confident. As for the team selection, can't see any changes baring injury although I agree with Alien, need 4 forwards on the bench.

I did not pick Moltzen because Brown is a much safer option.

Moltzen has had two decent games at fullback against mediocre opposition - we are now playing Manly who have one of the best kicking games in the comp and they will expose him.

Brown played fullback for us in the semi finals last year against QUALITY opposition and was fantastic. Will contest every bomb, can tackle and is not afraid of getting his hands dirty.

We also can't afford to start Utai on the wing on this one, he will be exposed. So I've got him on the bench as a utility.

Ellis on the right with Lui, Fulton can hit the holes just as good on the left. Brown at fullback, Moltzen will be turned around all night by their kicking game. Ryan to remain at right wing, has been pretty pleasing to watch over the last few weeks. No point in dropping him when he has been performing well, plus DCE/Foran will hoist them in his corner all night and Utai will struggle against them.

Since Fulton has been back with Lui, his missed tackles have been dramatically cut. I don't see why putting Ellis on the right will help Lui but will help Lawrence & Lotes defense, which were terrible.

Lisa, Dwyer on the right was the issue. Ellis and Fulton are both very able defenders, although as well as Ellis being a partner for Lui in defense, they form quite a formidable combination with Lui's running/passing and can put Ellis through the gap.

Lawrence and Lote are both good defenders, both are probably tentative from long term injuries which is to be expected.

Sheens has to select a bench that can control Manly's forwards. 4 forwards is a must and three must have some size about them. Manly will rip and tear up the middle and when they have control they will go wide. Not saying we cant win but really cant see it happening either

Thats why I have Brown on the bench. If Moltzen screws up, he can always replace him. And as for Utai, I'd probably let him have another week to recover and that way he'll be in top shape to face the dragons.
