I like that forward pack and bench. We need an aggressive approach if we are any chance of upsetting the bunnies

Unsure about chucking madden in and doubt we’d see that many changes in the backline but something needs to be done there

In all honesty they would be crucified and we would be no better off, by leaving the team who disgraced themselves against the Cowboys,have to prove it was an off game and have to redeem themselves otherwise Madge has to cull some and start all over again..
In my opinion,Noffa better regain last years form and earn his extention...
JTJ needs to be given more ball...a waste not using his speed...
BJ played much better before HIA stopped him..can produce that form again and will give Souths plenty to chase..
Brooks and AD need to get Laurie to inject himself alot more,however I think he is still a work in progress and is still settling in to the NRL fullback role...developing nicely...
Our forwards all need to have a good look at themselves and each other and evaluate whether or not they are capable of doing the basics of the game.run hard,tackle with venom and move up and dont give the opposition the opportunity to make simple metres and finally understand the meaning of support play in defense and attack...
Rant over,,,still copping plenty from team supporters of other clubs that I really feel like punching in the head numerous times....

You may be correct however I would be baffled if a young fella like Cini, who is trying to crack a first grade spot shows no heart like Nofa did on the weekend.

I can handle a player having a crack and making errors , I can’t handle Nofa showing no heart.

Not a bad side BUT Madden debuting against Souffs could ruin whatever potential the kid has.I think a few positional changes may shake things up.

Laurie whilst looking good at FB is not getting his hands on the ball enough to show his attack.
I would switch him to half his combination with AD could be sensational.
Mbye to FB
NOFO to be introduced to reserve grade coach.
CINI or HOFFMAN or COOPER to to the wing.
ROBERTS one last chance with BJ
SIMPKIN on the bench the way he plays could probably slip into the halves to cover any injuries.
Whilst I love TWAL as a player he's not a lock and Offa I think is the same.AD could possibly be groomed as a lock he has the speed and size required and his defence is solid.

We need a genuine 7, that's either Madden or Brooks, or we go to market. I've always been a Brooks fan and he's been good in attack this year, but until he learns how to lead a team around the park we go nowhere. Madden has shown enough in that department.

Agree on Nofo, but Cini doesn't know that his shoulder exists, Hoffman's a development player and Cooper is on T&T. Shows how pathetic our depth is in the outside backs.

Definitely need a genuine 13, neither Joffa nor Twal have the skillset to play there, but we have no one, unless you try M'Bye, but at this stage we need him to shore up the edges.

It’s criminal that our backline depth is how it is mate, bolstered our forward pack but Madge was very complacent in the 1-7 area

Could be Mbye's perfect position but after Sundays shuffle before the game with Mbye relegated to the bench it made me wonder if he might be on the way outa the club earlier than everyone thinks just a thought!

Roberts should never see first grade again. He has no fitness and spends all his time with his hands on his hips putting himself in positions where he won't get the ball. No concentration in defence either. He should be the first player dropped. Utoikamanu just made too many errors as well, put us under a heap of pressure. Give him a rest for a week to keep him hungry, he's only young.

He did invest in the pack,but you have to understand he is a coach that his structures are based on defense and you need big bodies for the role...some are young and some havent grasp the idea what NRL defense means or is all about...soon the penny may drop until then we have to rely on the coach to get the best out of this lot...I agree we need more depth in our backs department...very,very shallow...
I want the coach to succeed as I do the team,but you cant blame him if the players havent got the smarts or are just putting in an appearance,,,NO DEPTH stops him from culling some of the FG players...

Time to get Simpkin in at Lock, he can give Liddle a spell at times as well. Locks are moving away from just being another prop, we need to keep up with the times, that's another reason we're being left behind.

Move Roberts to the wing, Nofa can go to Knock On Cup and let in tries there. 4 years, that's a shocker.

Firstly if Madge took our advice he would be out the door next week....he knows who is ready for the top spots and who is not...all the wraps on Simpkin the hooker are validated,if he was ready dont you think Madge gets him in...Laurie is a superstar in the making but isnt a Teddy yet by a mile,however he is developing and doing well...D/H is a full on position that is demanding and if Simpkin was ready he would be in...he is not quite ready...
