Your team vs Melbourne Storm

The love on this site for Mitchell Moses continues to amaze me. Nine tackles missed this game, more than anyone else ( Brooks missed two).Moses is a very poor defender and this aspect of his game has not improved. Not saying Brooks is anything special, but his defence has improved. Moses mostly puts up aimless bombs ,hardly a skill. His attack is good sometimes but not often enough. Bite the bullet and let him go . We could spend the money then on the players we really need.

We tend to play well against the Storm - although I feel the team is too far gone and rocked this week to get a win, I think they will be much more competitive.

Webster will get them doing no nonsense stuff, and lets be honest, he won't care about dropping or selection players - strictly has nothing to lose - never know we may see some accountability and changes.

I know there are those who will say we have no-one in reggies to swap in, as they are getting flogged - I think it's attitude - players in state cup who have thought for a while that players above them will never be dropped, now are probably chomping at the bit for a chance.

Two competitive losses to them last year, and a decent W/L record at home before that - we win 60% at home vs these guys.

I'll probably still tip the Storm come Thursday, however wouldn't be surprised at all if we get up.

You have to earn a promotion to FG it should be harder to get in then get out.

NSW cup have lost 3 in a row by 50 so none of them deserve a spot.

Keep the same side plus ET, Idris and Ballin coming back from injury and give them a chance under a new coach and see what happens

People can play well in a badly beaten team. I haven't seen any of the State Cup games so I wouldn't know, but the commentators in the last game were giving Jordan Grant plenty of compliments.

I'm looking forward to the team announcement this week. Hopefully Webster makes some changes and sends a rocket up a lot of these idiots

Jordan grant deserves a shot, he looks the goods. Some players just need that one chance and they will grab it. We cant keep saying we dont drop players becasue we have no one to replace them with.

It will be very interesting to see who Webster picks. Not sure there is much choice given the results of the reggies the past 3 weeks.
Still, some changes will be made, surely - the current team selections certainly ain't working.

Make Tedesco Captain.

It's not as if Woodsy goes and challenges the refs anyway - at least give the captaincy to someone smart, articulate, and who has a great read on the game. Woods can be the spiritual leader from the front by showing it…. at the front.

Get Woods back to focusing on rumbling forward with footwork at the line.

1\. James Tedesco
2\. David Nofaloma
3\. Moses Suli
4\. Watson Heleta
5\. Kevin Naqama
6\. Mitch Moses
7\. Luke Brooks - lets see what these guys can do with Taylor now not there.
8\. Aaron Woods

11\. Suaso Sue
12\. Chris Lawrence
13\. Elijah Taylor

14\. Tatola
15\. Tim Grant

18\. MCK
19\. Idris
20\. Tatola

Play simple hard angry direct footy - we always seem to unsettle the Storm a bit.

I predict Webster won't want to rock the boat.

I would love if he went straight out and dropped the likes Of Lawrence, Brooks and Nqiuama.

However it's not like i can really name capable replacements.

We will look stupid after just sacking our coach, then not change our run on side. We have been lacking size to punch holes in the defence…if can't bend the defence back, then I don't care how many superstars a team has in the back line, they ain't going forward either. So here my side:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Idris
4\. Suli
5\. Naiqama
6\. Moses
7\. JLJ
8\. Woods
9\. Liddle
10.Ava
11.Aloiai
12.Tatola
13.Taylor

14.Paseka
15.Grant
16.Marsters
17.Sue
18.Hunt

We need big guys to hit the ball up hard and fast, 2 on, 2 off on rotation.

I would pick the same 17 from last week's disaster and give them a chance to redeem themselves without Taylor in charge.

If they get thrashed again they should be made to apologise to the fans present at the ground, donate any match fees to charity and then serious team changes need to be made in the coming weeks.

Sue is not a long term second row option IMO.
