Mikaele and Douhei in doubt, replacements ?

Corey Thompson would be handy.

Mbye to fullback, some rando to centre.

Talau to centre mate . Hoffman on the wing

Yeah I would say something like that. Mbye fullback, Talau centre and a rookie on the wing - Hoffman or Bradley or maybe.

Nelson,I agree to an extent of your changes, however in my way of thinking is that Talau has been great on the wing,I don't know how he would go in the centres even though I have faith in the kid making it in NRL,especially this being a crucial game for us if we want to be contenders in the finals..
I said earlier that this Penrith team would crucify a young inexperienced player in the backline and would rather put MCK or maybe Lawrence there because of their experience in the game, not ideal but I would hate to see a young genuine up and comer getting hammered and losing confidence and that goes for Hoffman and Bradley as well..
I don't know the answer but no doubt Madge has a plan and we just have to keep the faith...

Hoffman is a junior rep centre. I’d play him there

This isn't the week for new players.

This is the game that will really test us and that I really wanna win.

But you can only play whose available . Chee Kams defence in any ‘one of one’ defending position is horrible be it back row, centre, or wing. He doesn’t get found out anywhere near as much in the middle of the pack. Play the player that plays the position the best. We’ll see I guess

Expect a copy/paste team since we played last game Sunday..maybe some changes to the reserves to cover any changes..

Yeah that's a valid point of view. The match up is (I think) Whare at centre and To'o on the wing. Of those To'o is the bigger danger - fast and powerful. We might be better leaving Talau marking up against him as Talau is probably our most athletic outside back. I'd just be worried about Lawrence or MCK in the centres - I can just see them over-reading plays and rushing in to try to make up for their lack of agility.
I don't like seeing lots of changes made but maybe Lawrence to 2nd row and shifting Garner out might be a better option. Defending the edges is going to be important. Garner was on the wing in State Cup a few years ago and he's got some pace.

The only reason I would advocate for Packer to return is to decapitate Cleary.

Wouldn’t I love to see that.

Mikaele is the only out at this stage .. Packer returns from suspension will more than likely take that spot .. then maybe Doueihi doubtful knee injury picked up in game. Like most I would like to see Blore get a run pretty soon .. if fit.

Everyone wants to see Blore does anyone know what his situation is

when was the last time we beat penrith?

could be due for a win now

Last year... 30-4 in magic round

ah yes! very satisfying evening indeed. Crack up when the camera kept panning to Cleary

These reporters ask the same bloody questions every week.... Benji dropped, Harry Grant, wash rinse repeat. Players must get sick of it 😂 worst one was them asking Elijah Taylor ‘if you saw Ivan in a dark alley would you shake his hand’ Elijah has been coached by Cleary forever what a stupid question

Did we win 3 in a row last year? I can’t remember when we did it last.

Yep 2018. Then we lost 8 of our next 10.

Oh god ?

We should never have lost the first game:

We flogged them next time:

Is our team better than last year?
Are the Panferss better than last year.

I think we will smash em like guitars!

After M'Byes goal kicking efforts last week I'm wondering when Wests Tigers will have a capable first grade level goal kicker in their side.

We lost that game because Masters couldn't kick a goal, even one from almost in front.

What worries me is that Mybe is so inconsistent. He was kicking them from everywhere against the Cows and then missed most against the Dogs.

I know it’s not an excuse , but I think mbye was put off by someone in the crowd. It wasn’t he was laughing cause he missed but what that person was yelling.

You can see him trying to shut it out and then Cracking up , at the worst time . I feel like with the 7500 there tonight this should negate this, as any yelling will just be white noise for the most part.
