Lawrence needs to be rested. Go on a quick vacation or something.

The right side is unmanageable in defense. They cannot work it out. What Naqaiama and Nofoaluma bring in attack, Chee Kam and Addo-Carr are entirely capable of. And they are both more useful defensively. Chee Kam is a harder hitter, better tackler and less erratic and Addo Carr as a cover defender is needed.

Against Penrith I would be blooding Liddle. Doesn't have to travel to play and Penrith are full of youngsters themselves. Liddle won't feel overawed against Penrith on debut. Now's the time to give him a taste. He can come on late in the first half and go off after 50\. Give him 20 minutes to give Farah a rest.

If Halatau is injured then Farah starts with bench spot to be based on 2nd tier cap

How about tackling the bloke with the ball, not dumb arse :smiling_imp: hand grabs and when tackling stopping offloads. :unamused:
Don't give the opposition a decent lead at halftime. :brick: :dead-horse:

( If the club does not invest in big time backs but rather sign Tedesco in the off season my backline thus far for game 1 2017\. Why punish Chee Kam because of JAC. And we need Teddy’s signature – asap.

(I was having lunch the other day with T. Maire Martin – not too big and and pretty much acts his age. Not bigger then Liddle – my justification for all the talk on the forum about Liddle in hooker position for the rest of the year, his size and mental aptitude - he’s born at the right time as well – for if he was born in the late 30’s early 40’s he was going to war, possibly in Gallipoli – and the way I see it – if he’s old enough to go to war, then he’s more than ready to play the grade.

Since the thread is calling for my team, not the one I'm expecting to get picked, I'll go with this:

1\. Tedesco
2\. Nofoaluma
3\. Chee Kam
4\. Simona
5\. Heleta
6\. Moses
7\. Brooks
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Seumanufagai
11\. Sue
12\. Marsters
13\. Taylor
14\. Lawrence
15\. Felise
16\. Aloiai
17\. Liddle

It's been made pretty clear that Cherrington isn't considered a hooking option any more, Rowdy needs a rest and I think Tim Grant has been outplayed by our other three props.
Ava, Woodsy and JJ are all capable of playing big minutes, and the Panthers don't exactly have the biggest props going around so I don't think it'll cost us. New defensive combinations may cause trouble but they're all professionals right?
Sue has to be told to find the opposition half and hit him as hard as he can as often as he can. Watching the Raiders game, Tapine was an absolute monster and he isn't built all to differently to Sue. Don't understand Aloiai's minutes at the moment so I'd rather he come off the bench to provide impact, he can play up the guts if the props are struggling (or Sue, whichever of the two feels like it). Taylor came to us because he wanted to play at 13 in first grade, so let's bloody pick him there before we lose him.
I like Frozone but he and Moses just can't be trusted next to each other, Chee Kam in almost on defence alone. I think Nofo definitely struggles defensively but he's playing catch up 90% of the time and his runs are too valuable to lose.
From what I've seen Heleta is basically Nofo but a bit better under the high ball, he'd definitely help out with yardage with only three props.
Halatau to 'rest' for concussion and a specialist hooker (or two) to be picked.

Fine lined up for the Dogs last game so not an option.

I agree that Chee-Kam to centre and give Frozone a rest.

JJ Feilise must be in the side. Love his impact.

Agree Lawrence is looking tired and maybe some time on bench

Teddy vs Matt Moylan could decide the Blues full back spot.

Moses
Brooks (thought he played he best game in NRL last week)

ET
