To an extent, but whenever the words "Wests" and "favourites" appear in the same sentence, always brace for a bad year. I just think we should have won the comp in either 2010 or 2011 - it was our turn in the salary cap cycle. I think we may be on the slide this season.

I dwelled on that for a month after the Warriors game… I kept looking at the 'cycle' and wondered if we may have just lost our chance. I dont feel we should be Premiership Favourites considering we have a new Spine and a new Halfback & Fullback, but I feel the nucleus is strong enough to be hitting its straps mid season to ensure we are there in the Top 8.
