Definitely Roberts will get dropped. He has been in terrible form most of the season because his mind is somewhere else and would rather run in semi-circles rather than through gaps.

Would be good to see Roberts in reggies - they create a lot of space and get the ball to their outside backs pretty quickly. we might get to see what is missing in firsts.

Great Debut for this young man... If he is not there next week we clearly have something wrong.
over 150m in your first game and could of been 2 tries is an excellent effort. Did not seem rattled and happy to put in anywhere just to win.. I still think we need to increase our 1 year extension otter to 2 year as a min as this kid could be out answer for a wing spot moving forward..

This is what gets me about recruitment and retention...we have some very good and classy young players coming up and available...yet they extend Noffa for 4 years after 1 solid outstanding year during covid...

Yes, I would like to see how he performs outside halves who are giving early ball to their backs.

Its off topic but was are still playing way to flat in attack, we looked much better today on the few occasions we played with a little depth.

The 2 tries in the second half showed what we can do when we play with some depth. Brooks even had time to take on the line and dummy to lead runner before going out the back to Laurie. I'm sure it was just an aberration. Back to clunky standing start attack next week.

I've got a great story. all his mates had bought tickets in random spots and ended up in the one bay. turns out they were in our seats. we asked security if they could stay there as we didn't wanna spoil the day for em, so we went on the hill and, well, you saw the rest of it. how good was that. when he was walking towards them at full time that feeling he must've had would've been incredible. so happy for him.

I think the best part for me was how the players were almost as excited as Cinis mates. It gives you an insight of the sort of bloke he is off the field, and we really need players like that.

They looked like a team compared to looking like strangers last week.

Agreed, saw that when they all got around Laurie after he somehow got out of the in goal. They really appreciated his effort and gave him a big Pat on the back

Play of the game. Although I think we were an ounce lucky. But about time we had some luck!!

I think that penalty made up for the one when Noffa was thrown over the sideline as I thought that should have been a penalty.

Possibly but that was just two bone heads doing bone head things. Wish them two would learn to play smarter.

Wasn't it dumb football lol, I think that is why the refs let it go. We deserved to be bundled out.

Three of our errors in the first half were just not acceptable from professionals. Until we can get rid of those we will always languish.

Read the above comments - people didn't make him out to be an arm-grabber, he was, but that was 2 years ago and none of the reserves played football last year.

So it's been a long time for these players to develop since their last complete season, and as Madge said, Cini works very hard on his game. It was also noted that several alumni from Cini's rep sides have gone on to start NRL careers already, and Cini has kept working to achieve his chance.

Was it? Its been a huge issue all year so thought it must have been the plan.

AJ is more of a center not a winger imo.

Yeah have to agree, he seems a much bigger body and I've always thought he'd be better suited there.

Great Debut, got the feeling from Maguire he didn't know too much about him when asked about him in post match presser.

That's okay though as Storm were trying to flog Papenhuyzen at the start of his debut season.
Hopefully he'll become our unexpected Gem.
