Doesn't sound like anything? just a fine and thats it

I would not be surprised if Madge makes them miss a week or two to set an example though.

Sounds like they refused to leave the pub and got fined. It's stupid but not much to worry about as long as they don't do anything worse in the future. Would be very surprised if they miss any games for it

Zane ...Zane ....Zane ......when will you learn

Its the name I tell you ...every Zane I know is a douche bag ...every single one

Silly duffers. They'll get a fine and have to some community outreach or training and that'll be all that comes of it. Maybe a suspended fine even.

I reckon Madge will sit them out, but probably no NRL imposed punishment

Probably, but its next level stupidity, particularly Musgrove. To get to the point you refuse to leave, there needs to be high level of inebriation. That in itself at this stage of the pre-season is disappointing.

Sounds like he some in lockup too according to the telegraph (if they're not talking crap) despite not being charged with anything. Obviously can't handle his alcohol the silly bugger. Needs to stay off it

Seems like he can't handle his alcohol. People like that shouldn't drink, you'd think he would learn

Im worried about Zane. He will learn and make it, or not. Push is coming to shove.

It can literally be , you trip over a bar stool and the bouncer says “your done mate “ . And you might have just got there and had half a sip of a beer . Or you pissed off the bar staff , and they say get rid of this guy . I did that in Newtown , because I wouldn’t tip the bar staff . I said it wasn’t New York , and I got turfed 10 minutes later .

Projecting much? Without exception every post has said its not a big deal, but it is concerning on other levels.

Are you happy with players getting this pissed at this stage of pre-season, a month out?

Are you happy with our players not having the sense to see what this might do to the perception of them or the club and just leave without fuss?

Definitely happen to me one or two times.

Getting asked to leave a premises is no big deal. Abusing police outside the premises at 3am isn’t good though, especially when he’s missed so much football for disciplinary reasons already.

Did you refuse to leave and require cops to come to fine you for "refuse to leave?". That might be the difference. Yes that could happen after your first sip, so why would you want to hang around, there are plenty of places to buy a drink. To me you need to be pretty pissed to get to the point you need cops.

Kepaoa, 20, was issued an infringement notice for remaining in the vicinity of a licensed premises he had been kicked out of.

While Musgrove wasn’t charged this morning, NSW Police confirmed an investigation was ongoing.

“Just before 3am today (Sunday 31 January 2021), officers from Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended a licensed premises on Arden Street, Coogee and spoke to security who had refused entry to a number of patrons,” a statement said.

“Police spoke to a group of people outside, directing them to leave the vicinity when two men allegedly became abusive, refusing to do so.

“Both men, aged 20 and 24, were arrested and taken to Maroubra Police Station before being released shortly after.

“The younger man (Kepaoa) has since been issued an infringement for excluded person remain in vicinity of licensed premises.

“Further action is expected, inquiries continue

Not ideal but far from the worst indiscretion this off-season. Hopefully that's the worst of it for the club.
