Really freaken stupid. I get they are young and stupid and I get that most of us have done dumb things especially the Queenslanders amongst us but at some point you have to recognize you are a professional sportsperson and you have to play the game by the rules.

Im going to have to give you guys and gals a little professional insight into some of these incidents that happen no matter if you play NRL are a bricky or a welder....THE governing laws re RSA(responsible service of alchol)is you can be refused service if you are deemed to be intoxicated, cause or disrupt other customers or become aggressive while consuming alcohol....
Now I would just like to say that these signs are plastered all over the entrances and within the premises in clear view of patrons....if people cant read or understand those rules then maybe they should not even attempt to enter a place that sells alcohol and stay at home...
Im saying this because if your just turned 18 or your 70,the OLGR(office of liquor gaming and racing )has spent a great deal of time money and resources to educate the population on theses LAWS..they are not to be taken lightly, not only can the offending customer be heavily fined the premises can be fined and lose their license...Im not bagging either of these boys, but, education in this particular area may assist in the future for them...

These guys probably have been educated on it that are just dumb

As the father of a female cop a 110kg drunk imbecile abusing her is the precursor to my worst nightmares and the reason I don't sleep when she's on night duty. But hey, you blokes go ahead and make light of it to promote your own inadequate man credentials.

Totally understand your reaction ..hopefully an 120 kg monster would shut his trap and be a true gentleman around your daughter ....

I was denied entry to Penrith Stadium last year due to an overly sensitive security guard that I laughed at.

Among bouncers you will find plenty of these overly sensitive types. I swear I've seen bouncers start more fights than they've prevented. Some of them are very unnecessarily aggressive and prone to roid rage.

nothing to see here make them do a few extra training sessions re educate them on normal life for the thousandth time and start them in reggies. I dare say when we re signed Zane he would have had some clauses in his contract so he best be on his best behaviour.

Really starting to doubt McGuire at this stage.... he’s signed this goose for 4 years. Got all the talent in the world Musgrove but will he stay out of trouble? Jury is out I think Michael

tiger steve,I can clearly see your point of view,I will say, having worked in the Hotel and Club industry for over 40 years, these LAWS were made and put in place for a reason, irrespective of having a couple to many or getting smashed,we all had to abide by these rules, not only as customers but suppliers of the products as well...the population has been educated enough and so have Licensees,if you are refused service and fail to leave license premises you can be fined or charged..its that simple...
It got even harder because of the coward punch incidents, hence the heavy lockouts at Midnight etc..Im not lecturing people,I have seen first hand what happens when people cant handle the piss or be told they have had enough...once again I will say educational tools have been put in place to help customers and premise owners...the excuse of being young and dumb no longer cuts it in the court of law..

Ive been kicked out of a few pubs, ive never been arrested for failing to leave.youd have to be a fair idiot to stay when u know the cops are coming.

Not making excuses for them at all. Just saying, once you’ve had a few beers reasoning doesn’t exist. If they’ve done the wrong thing - fine them for sure.

Went out with my young adult sons at Christmas on one of their night outs and it was interesting. The pathetic display by security picking and choosing who went in and out of venues was a classic case of giving too much authority to a fool. So it cuts both ways I suppose

I know you werent making excuses steve ,I was refering to the young and dumb senario,it doesnt cut it anymore....as for security guards,I sacked 2 over a twelve month period because they were over the top and heavy handed...there is the right way to do things and there is the wrong way to do things,I have made many mistakes over the years and hopefully I learnt from them, unfortunately some people just dont learn..I think our 2 boys will...

Slow news day hey!, I guess we were due some negative Nancy headlines.. More than likely both are only guilty by association.
