Tigers eye permanent move back to spiritual homes at Leichhardt, Campbelltown

well Bay 21 and 20 must never be filled because I know plenty of people who rick up and buy tickets at each home game as members of the public.
At least LO and campbletown offer some areas away from the sun in day games UNLIKE Parramatta stadium the corporate seating is all on the tunnel side, also Parramatta is the only stadium where they run out towards all of the ticketed members
A stadium built for corporate boxes not season ticket holders
And they pay upwards of $60 to sit there..

The whole Northern end of Commbank is in shade. Other parts of the eastern are aswell as it has a roof.

you look straight in to the sun
I am fortunate my boss has a box at bankwest it is fine on that side of the ground I go to away games at the box, that is not what footy is all about
Sitting 8 rows from the front on the 50m line at 2pm the roof does bugger all and it is very sunny.
Crap stadium and I live 10 mins away so location wise it is handy.
Then you have the leagues club right next door, it is not a home game feel

You look straight into the sun at LO too. Fans rave how great it is to be on the hill at LO on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Maybe it's a different sun.....

I’m Balmain heritage and I’d be happy with 10:2 split to Campbelltown. Just give it a revamp to modernise it and get on with it.
I think they are looking at an 8/4 split with possibly 1 or both grounds giving up a game for Tamworth and Magic round when its a home game. Its a start. Who knows what is going to happen with the distinct possibilty of a change in govt next election. I have no idea on what the oppositions policy is on sports stadiums.

I guess at LO a couple of thousand members don't loom into the sun in the Latchem stand or at campbletown
The ground at LO is more than just a hill

look 4 me on telly, when the cord brakes on my shorts, and things need to be fixed, thats the game day experience on the telly,so bright i leave diamonds

Well you are going away from my comment on the sun being an issue at Commbank. It's weak as piss.

5 afternoon home games this year -2 at Campbelltown, 2 at bankwest and 1 at Leichardt. Not sure the sun is that bigger issue when most games are night games over a season - Its only Sunday arvo games where the sun is an issue and even then didn't notice it at bankwest last year - perhaps I was sitting on the ends though. Loved the ground at bankwest - easy to get too, plenty of great bars for pre-drinks in the ground, lots of great food and drink options and so close to the action. I'd happily stay with the current approach.

commbank is set up for the corporates, I think the only ground where the corporates are on the tunnel or run out side of a stadium and no season ticket holders or members are on that side of the field. The layout of commbank in respect of setting it up just for corporate boxes is poor.

I really think it all comes down to the council...

If tigers and mac bulls join forces and with help from the council there is no reason why the stadium cant be redeveloped

4 me I don't think the article came from nowhere. Buzz said sheens was talking with Gould recently, my guess would be there is lobbying to build a new stadium in Liverpool which the dogs probably in favour of. The article was probably WT attempt to say no our intention is to get things done for Leichardt and cambo. Big money at stake so probably a lot of politics happening right now.

Sheens would have very very little involvement & decision rights on stadium / commercial proposals. Gould would just go to Pascoe or our open mouthed #1 fan who he knows both well & would have more pulling power to support him than Sheens would.

You'd think those knuckle heads would run to Sheens for answers.
