Madden has cold feet from media .do we put money into him or look elsewhere

He is developing nicely and until the last game has gone mostly unnoticed. Good young halves are in short supply so the answer imo is invest in him. Aren't we about backing youth? Not long ago many thought very little of the playing ability of Seyfarth, but he was always a very good player. Madden is of similar quality.

Upgrade MADDEN or upgrade RUA

Madden played one good trial. I’m not saying he won’t kick on but I wouldn’t be offering crazy money for him. We may recall Luke Brooks having an outstanding NRL debut.

Rua I like and I’d be looking to get him on a sensible deal that reflects his current status.

I hear Nikora is pretty much over the line. Supposedly another Sydney team made a move and we’re told he’s going to the Tigers.

Hope you are right but we've had a few blokes 'over the line' in the last few years that never eventuated. Nikora would be a good get if we do that's for sure

Trust the Sheens effect 😄

I saw a 'Sheens effect' blast from the past today on Foxsports. They are having a countdown of Top 100 games of the NRL era. It was 2009 vs the Bulldogs- Sheensy had John Morris at 7, Chris Lawrence at 6 and Tim Moltzen in the centres😂. I reckon he used to get stuck into the grog up in the box some days!
Not surprisingly we lost😂. Shannon Gallant kicked about 1 from 5 and El Masri potted them over for fun.

I am the same love both Podcasts and these guys dont get paid and do out of their own time to support the beloved Tigers so I appreciate the time both Podcasts crews put into them. I dont always agree but as you say anyone that talks about the Tigers has my attention

100%. A lot of time and effort would be put in to producing them

IMO now would be a good extend Doueihi‘s contract while he is injured and out of the mind of other clubs. Everyone sees him as Captain material and part of our long terms plans. Why wait until he is back playing and front of mind for other clubs? Do an extension now like we did with Utoikamanu until the end of 2025. Doueihi’s contract is up at the end of next season.

Keep the right players is the key .alot have left and kicked on .alot have stayed and well yea .some coaches bring out the best in players aswell .getting the right balance for a team is the key but sometimes money talks and the tigers seem to be at the wrong end of deals the last few years .that is the madden issue .I like him we have developed him but if he gets more money he is gunna go tho

He was tidy then but yeah I know what you’re saying, Hastings and Brooks needed the game time to work on their combo I see both sides.
