Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Is that tin foil hat wearing a bit tight? When the likes of Johns, Fittler and Daley all implored the Tigers to do everything they can to re-sign young Brooks and Moses were they also insulting the fans of the knights, roosters and Raiders?

This stuff happens all the time and yes it's normal to those in the spotlight to be impartial, especially when it comes to a club locking down a talented young player they've developed

And there's many more examples out there too
was anyone happy Teddy was going

No, because Johns, Fittler and Daley were not paid employees of a club negotiating with a player who they were suggesting should re-sign with their current club.

Maybe they didn't rate Brooks and Moses as highly as we did at the time?
The influence of Mini was a big factor for Teddy signing with the Roosters. He went all out to entice him

What a dog
Tele now on board and will use this to bash the Tigers at every chance

The clock has started ticking on the most promising backrow prospects seen at Concord in recent times.

Boom forward Kelma Tuilagi will join North Queensland bound Leilua Leilua in departing the club at the end of the season.

Imagine if we end up signing Nanai, Nikora or another quality 2nd rower. There will be silence from them on the Tiger front, as they won't know what to write.

Fair enough understandably frustrating

Man he shits me.
Loved him as a player but still manages to not plug us whenever he can. Has his own show now. Should be a propaganda drive for the tigers, instead it won't be.
He's even our payroll and still doesn't work for us.

Right now we need as much pressure off us as we possible can get.

We need to do these things behind closed scenes not out in the public domain. We have had a heap of dirt on us over the last 2yrs on not being able to attract players.

If Benji says Nanai should join the Tigers, what about the 20 other up and coming kids who he doesn't mention. It's not the right thing to do.

No player is making their decision based off a 5 second comment on Benji's show.

Not necessarily about player recruitment, I mean in general. I'm sure he does a bit behind the scenes, we're paying him anyway.
Like you said it's all about promoting the tigers as a destination, a great club not just for retirees.
I never felt benj has done this for us, not publicly anyway
