If I was Madden, off contract and not a regular starter. I’d jump at the chance to work with Andrew Johns and assume almost the same role.

Interesting after the WestLife twitter said Nikora is close to signing with us, seams a bit of negotiations between us and sharks - maybe others for him too?


Fitzgibbon was asked in the video bellow and said 'We'd really like to keep him, we're in discussions, we're confident'

Interesting how this one plays out, knowing our track record with delayed negotiations haha!

Madden has some talent, is 22 & during covid it wouldn't have been easy on restricted game time development wise. He needs gametime.

Madge showed his hand with Simpkin, Stefano, Kelma, Tuki, Blore, Laurie and co previously. So why hold back on Madden now if he is our future picture.

If he plays the next 3 weeks (pending injury) then I can see he is in our long term plans, if not & Madge goes for Peachey then I doubt he would be viewed longterm & if I was him would look at options with other clubs.

I have a feeling Madge will play Peachey at 6 and bring in Mikaele or seyfarth and stick with simpkin on bench
This year I think we need liddle and simpkin constantly changing from dummy half to give us some attack from that space to have any chance

As someone said earlier if JTJ is a mentor to some of the indigenous guys and he suggests let's have a slap on the pokies, it's not the end of the world just not a great look that's all

Gee if people on here are having a shot at brooks all the time , if madden gets a run then brooks will be of the hook , madden was terrible in nsw cup over the last few years how the hell is he going to get better playing 1st grade .

Nah, the narrative will be Brooks was given 9 years so there’s no reason to give it to Madden. I believe that’s cutting your nose off to spite your face.
