I do t think there is a halfback in the NRL that would make a lick of difference with the squad we have.

Some of the premier guys would have secured a win tonight and may have strangled Melbourne out of the first game as well.
None of them would have made a difference last week though.

I believe there's a post season clean out coming with majority of the forwards seeing turn over.

If this club hadn't any brains they'd negotiate deals to release Brooks, Laurie and Nofo....

I'd even be considering extending Liddle, as depth - passing not good enough but makes a decent back up 9 for Api as we've seen Simpkin still isn't up to it.

Starford showed promise tonight and in the trials but we need centres.

Need to put this team in a stronger position come round 1, 2023 and this is how it's done.

Speed has always been a flaw for us.
Think the club would've tried to address it by now.

Impact forward is a huge need. There was a moment second half where brooks hit seyfarth close to the line in acres of space. Seyfarth got dominated where most backrowers steamroll over the line.

Players of that caliber make other players better man, we get an extra xtra 5% out of the players we have - its not enough… but it’s something.

Our defence has improved a lot this year in my opinion. I think we are torn between playing Madge ball (high percentage) and expansive (Wests Tigers ball) and we don’t have the cattle to do either. The result is a clunky hunk of junk.
