I read a comment before the game where someone said if we let Brooks go, it will be smooth sailing. Wasn’t sarcasm either.

Madden was better
Madden $200k (probably less) 5 games
Brooks $850k 175 games lol

Was more than 2 kicks. He also put both centres into the clear either side of half time. Madden was ok, and showed a bit of potential, but he wasn’t anything to write home about. And it’s obvious he’s only being talked up to diminish Brooks even further. But it’s not going to work because Brooks was fine tonight and far from our biggest problem.

Im not talking up as an immortal, but he’s not the abomination you claim either. If he and Madden swapped roles tonight and Brooks played the way Madden did, you still would say he sucked.

I liked it when Noffa tripped over his own feet and then dropped the ball. And also when Laurie dribbled the ball like it was a basketball over the try line 😂 yeah it’s the halfback 😂

People aren’t watching the game. He had it by the scruff of the neck and then it was Musgrove knock on, crusher, noffa knock on, Musgrove high shot. We didn’t see the ball for 10 mins. Momentum gone.

People are starting to watch the games, just to see whether or not Brooks plays like an Immortal.
Obviously if he doesn’t, he is poor and isn’t worth the shirt on his back.
Madden I thought started well with a lot of confidence. But didn’t get involved anywhere near as much in the second half.
Well it’s certainly going to be a challenge next week against the Titans pack without our leading prop in Stefano.

Brooks received the ball 60 times and Tigers completed 33 sets. So what are you talking about?

The wildly differing opinions about Brooks is caused by confirmation bias. Also I think that there is a certain type of person that feels better when they rant and blame someone, it doesn't have to be true, but they feel better.

You hobbo1, only see what you want to see. If Brooks was as bad as you think he is, why has he played 174 first grade games? Why do other teams want to buy him (now and in the past)? Why does he get paid an unknown but very large amount of money?

The choices are:-
1. hobbo1 knows far more than all the people that run and coach NRL clubs
2. hobbo1 is wrong about Brooks, and does not see reality when he/she watches a game.

I'm pretty sure its number 2.
