ahh well at least I put something up , our club stopped at API and Papi , but we are loosing Lucy and Kel and still have a heap of players who are below what I put up ,
Simms is better than all we put up at the front bar Stef
Bird , is also as good if not better than Kel
Aitken better than Roberts and Ollie , but Ollie will improve he seems to have that desire to win

I would take Simms and bird but not on the money they would want

I’d say at this stage he is projecting to be on a similar path to Michael Oldfield. He is quick and competitive. But yet to face men. That will be the tester.

Problem with that approach is they either give it their all or they don’t but from November 1 of the first year they can talk to other clubs.
Your either stuck continuing to pay them 1.5 /1.2 a season because the precedent has been set or you lose out to a club performing better who wants to add a gun to their already rippling roster.

I’m thinking he wouldn’t commit to us long term but if you blow other clubs away $ wise maybe

As you said it gets the wheels in motion. Long term could be the following contract.
Shame he is still contracted and underpaid at Brisbane for 2 more years.
Is his manager Tyron Smith by any chance?

Not sure but the rumour is he thinks he’s a million dollar man. Give them joffa back
