Obviously can’t disclose where I get my info from , but I wouldn’t waste my time posting garbage on here, if I thought it was Bs I wouldn’t post it, just being a long time wests supporter and now wests tigers supporter thought that other long time supporters might like to truly know what’s going on with certain player/s and who has the say etc….

I do not believe for a second that those two have come in and, in 6 months, have decided to move on one of the best rake prospects in the country, who is 19 and only extended his contract last year.

That part in particular is extremely inconceivable.

Simpkin has done nothing to warrant being considered one of the best rake prospects in the country. Hasn’t stood out at all in first grade

Balanced bench with some excitement and impact and some work ethic with Twal.

That's all very achievable and those players can become available with the rumours floating around the players being off Ricky.

That's as close to a Bellamy pack as we can get in our situation.

Good pack Demps. Still have Musgrove and Joffa floating around as well and the young Props from Manly nad Newcastle. Very interesting...

We have already started to do this but in much lower grades and as such the talent is likely 3 years off. The simpkin news is disappointing if true, but Rua seems to be the player most likely to make it and he can play in other positions in the pack to. I like Jake though, but his running and passing games dont look to be strong enough....but is that a deficiency with our coaching in the lower grade

any wonder this club is in the mess it’s in with peanuts like you for fans not too many 20 year old hookers stand out in their first year or 2 in first grade

Due to your wonderful quoting job @barnzee i can’t quote you, however let me just say anyway, better yet ask, you blame supporters opinions on players for the club assembling the worst roster in the comp?

And I will stand firm on Simpkin. As I have said a couple of times lately, I use players like Walker, Nanai and Walsh as examples of players at a similar age to Simpkin. Far from complete players, but show you enough to make you believe they are class. Simpkin has shown no such glimpses. He’s just bleh.

From the limited exposure I’ve liked what I’ve seen from Doorey. But apparently Bulldogs fans on the kennel don’t rate him.

How dare you, Russell. You'll be called Russell if you don't think simpkin is up to it. Neither is Liddle for that matter.

I truly believe Bellamy would sign Doorey but NOT Nikora.

Nikora, value / cost ratio isn't there for me.
Need players that benefit the team, not their own bank account.

Tapine, Doorey, Hudson Young, Mitch Barnett, Jackson Topine.

Players that can excell at their own job thus making the every part of the machine which is the team move in the right direction.

@sly post saying Dillon is likely gone saddens me but we're also moving on some other dead wood (imo) brings me joy.

doorey is a reserve grader at the dogs, he will not improve this team at all

Mahoney was also bleh till the last couple seasons, physically the hooker position is far different to the roles those players you mentioned play, he's still got a lot of development left at just 20 years, and yes I was hoping he would show more too, but referencing guys like Mahoney who was let go by the dogs, I wouldn't right him off yet especially given he has excelled his junior grades and also at reserve grade level. I think it would be incredibly stupid to let him go.

edit: I also think its unfair to blame a 20yr hooker for not meeting the standards required for a first grade hooker, the blame should be entirely on liddle here.

Agree. A better comparison is show me the other 20 yr old hookers playing NRL and how they are performing better
 
Baby steps, let's concentrate on Nikora.
I bet Madge is keen to reunite with Kiwi Nikora because there might be a coaching clause in the contract that might save Madge.
I really rate Nikora. He would compliment Api and Papa next year especially since we're losing Kelma and Lucy.
