Need to give James Tamou some credit as he played like 55mins and made like 125m.
He really looks to be putting in and leading more then last year..

One of, if not his best game for us. Good early carries, really set the scene.

Yeah there were a few hilarious comments when the original announcement was made but I can't quite recall any of them now.

He (Brooksy) was in his element and IMO weaved his magic.
Absolutely love Hastings. His whole attitude and temperament. Find he's a real leader and competitor, doesn't let others' opinions about him affect him but at the same time he'd never let anything get to his head. He's what this team has been lacking. A man of great character.
The whole team dynamics has changed for the better since his return and no doubt the suspension played a part in this. He couldn't make it any more obvious that he doesn't want to let his teammates down.

If we can win more than 3 games in a row that would boost confidence around the joint

True but as I said yesterday this was one of only 3 or 4 occasions since the 70s where I gave Wests or the WT no chance....And there has been some poor years, and we won in front of 30k on their big day. Can't believe it really.

Liked how we forced them under pressure to change their game plan..so we rattled them a bit.

So it was significant.


For the record the last time I thought my team had no chance was 1986 Wests v Manly at Brookvale.

And we won that day too.

Well I would suggest that we attack the opposition and only those players in our team that don't meet the win at all costs standard that was set against those slimy eels.
