We all know Madge has a doghouse and Peachey is in it at the moment. Other players have been in there for ages prior, and I get the whole concept.

But Gildart last week came up with one of the worst tackle attempts ever and it almost cost us the Souths game.

Yet "effort at training" saw Gildart get picked v Saints...and it cost us the game. That one selection cost us the game.

Peachey should have been challenged and revved up...played at ceneter...look at his whole history and Peachey always comes up with a gem after a few bad ones.

We don't need a doghouse when we have 4 backs out. You need to be sensible with this stuff.

I respect attitude at training and effort...and discipline...and I get why Peachey is in there...

But Gildart was atrocious v Souths and anyone could see this coming. Gildart's selection cost us the game.

AD, Talau, Laruie, Ken all out...you just need to adjust the whole "make an example" thing and use everyone.

Yet he was.

And it has cost us the game.

Madge hooked him with ten to go. But it was too late. You need to make that decision midweek.

Getting decisions like this correct 'before' they impact you is what makes a season successful or a failure.

Any player who rushes up on the last to attempt an intercept should not be playing 1st grade, to make things worse he rushes up again to make the worst attempt at a tackle I've seen. We were playing ok up until that point and Peachy would definitely be a better option.

Then why did Brooks keep going down that side knowing Gildart is shit and it’s Kepeoa’s first game back in like 2 years ?

He can't "not" go down one side when the coach picks someone...and Garner's side can't attack as Luke has no hands or attack. Tries hard and D has been good, but zero attack.

This is not on the halves.

Peachey plays tonight and we win.

People need to remember Peachey has had bad games and poor discipline forever...he won't change. But he also has one great game a month when challenged and is a genuine utility. Tonight should have been that challenge for him.

Peachey is so ill disciplined. In close games his decision making is appalling. When the team is functioning on effort I can understand why any coach would be reluctant to play him.
