Okay - just confirming it then. 😊@WT2K Already broke the news yesterday
I would imagine contracts could be reneged by mutual agreement. The trouble is we wouldn't be offering the amount the cows are reportedly paying him. It’s not a position of need for them and they were desperate and paid too much . Circumstances have certainly changed.
I think we probably would given his form this year. On last years' form, absolutely not.I would imagine contracts could be reneged by mutual agreement. The trouble is we wouldn't be offering the amount the cows are reportedly paying him.
Yeah and using his height out wide for cross field kicks. I think he scored a few of those last year.AD at centre is the go especially if Jacko is feeding him the ball
The way he defended on the weekend, he couldn't get the pen in his hand fast enough.BIRD TO STAY WITH DRAGONS
Dragons utility Jack Bird has reportedly re-signed on a two-year deal with a mutual option for a third. The club increased their offer after the 27-year-old knocked back their initial two-year offer, according to News Corp. It's understood the deal is worth around $550,000 a season
Yep, it's not common, but 100% the case. Any contract can be deemed null and void via mutual agreement. We would fall a bit short on their offer, but not a tremendous amount. An extra year mutual option may sweeten the deal at 600 for example. The toughest part is the initial conversation about the idea. Though there is still plenty of time for this to happen, however likely it might be.I would imagine contracts could be reneged by mutual agreement. The trouble is we wouldn't be offering the amount the cows are reportedly paying him.
It's fascinating how much they step up their game when they're after a new contract.Joe O has been fantastic this season hope he stays another year
Is there a specific reason for Luch's move to Queensland, besides the money?I highly doubt Luch will be with us next season. But i would love to keep him.
If he were to back-flip it would be like signing a new quality player

Plus we are relying on injury prone Blore to come good and play a whole season.Bird re-signed, Nikora looks to have rejected us and Aitken up in the air. our options for a back rower on the left edge are growing thin quickly. I know Doorey and Topine are on the club's radar but I'm unsure if either are of the calibre we need. WT needs to strike quickly and get it sorted.
hopeful he can get his body sorted, there is absolutely a player there. we've got plenty of youngsters coming through the grades that are going to be vying for back row positions, but apart from O'Kane and maybe Kautoga I think most of them are a while off.Plus we are relying on injury prone Blore to come good and play a whole season.
Contract expires next seasonUm Joe wasn't after a new contract....
It’s only the money. Is there a specific reason for Luch's move to Queensland, besides the money?
Contract expires next season
He scored a few alright. If he gets his defence alright and not rush out hel go great thereYeah and using his height out wide for cross field kicks. I think he scored a few of those last year.
