I think that's a little naive man...
And a bit disrespectful maybe....
Those deals were announced very quick after Sheens got here
- Would be stupid to think they weren't very much over the line beforehand - If not fully over the line.
Especially considering he'd previously coached both players - And there's usually a couple weeks downtime between the signing and the announcement.
You know more than I do,
Three years handcuffed by 15 years of a poor club culture that attracted overpaid lazy players and coaches looking for a quick fix.

Yeah agree. Think players are rushed back without a reserve grade game too much. Look at Tommy T the other night.
Give him at least one game in reserves. Maybe even 2.
What coach would you replace him with? Unless its Bellamy or another top coach there is no one else that is above Madge waiting. Please don't get me started on Green or Flanagan.
I reckon brown will be given a chance until the team is based back in NZ again.

When we have posts suggesting player signings be linked to coaching tenures it is divisive. Let Maguire's tenure be determined by results. He has had over three years and the initiatives introduced by the Board are working. I'm for the greater good of the club, not the coach.

That's so true last year at least 50 I am so happy with the team digging in having a ago if we had Daine and Adam in the team we would have so much more attack
If we can sign an outside back with at least 70 first grade games under his belt for next year we are looking up
Everyone is for the greater good of the Club.
At the end of the day this side side is improving. If it continues this coaching staff stays

Which I don't think is true.... At all!! As per the points I stated.
Papalii is a 23yr old Kiwi - He'd barely know who Sheens was.
Poor results with an ordinary team. Apart from the Dogs we had the worst lineup of any team.
Those 3 years I was hoping to be around 8-10 but realistically I thought 12-14.
Yes Madge needs to be accountable as anyone but to change coaches now is not the way to go

They're not going up there for Maybe's or could be's

No one will ever know however who is in charge of recruitment?
I've said it all year - This year, We have the weakest squad on paper....
But we're not playing like the weakest team
We're almost over achieving to be in games....

Don't you agree it was the Board's intervention to place Sheens over Maguire and appoint two new assistants which has had the most profound impact upon the Club? If it weren't for the Board we may still be where we were last year. These decisions were made for the greater good of the Club, not the coach.
