The WHO has no credibility as far as I'm concerned.

Everyone must surely remember January 2020 when the WHO released a statement along the lines that ...

They have seen no evidence of human to human transmission of COVID 19.

And that they don't recommend border closures.

Well, this was their moment, exactly the sort of thing they exist for and they come up with that.

No accountability.

Any national delegation to bodies like this is outside of government mandate and a threat to a nations security with the above in mind.

Do we get a vote on this?
Magpie,I responded to CB because he didnt understand how the WHO will have the power if they sign the new treaty on the 22/5/2022...
Its a complete sham....Morrison supports it because he was one of the WEF students under Swabb....
If people do some research and see the agenda then they will clearly see the big picture...
It all leads to their plan of a Global one Government....ie the New World Order...

I think CB,with this new treaty that gives the WHO the power to do anything within our country in regard to pandemics that otherwise our Govt would implement a response, they will overide it and if that means more lockdowns, vaccines, passports etc they will have the power not the Govt they will control everything...its a New World Order phase of taking a countries sovereignty...google WEF ,NWO and WHO...
Also google the "Covid 19 the Great reset written by Klaus Swabb the head of the World Economic Forum....

Can you please provide links to the treaty that gives the WHO this power ?

Just as a side point do you really believe that we could ever have a world governing body ? I reckon it'd be unreal. We could all stop spending a tonne of money on defense and war and instead spend that money on helping the poor and the environment.

I don't think there is any chance at all of that happening but I can see a lot more positives.

What do you think about the mass shooting in America inspired by nonsensical conspiracy theories ?

I have tried to find information on this, and it is unavailable everywhere. The only thing I have heard in regard to this is Clive Palmer's UAP making some outlandish statement in advertising.

Even Ray Hadley has called it out as total BS.

Not that I believe there will be one universal governing body for the world, but if there ever was, I would say the regime would lead towards oppressive rather than utopian ideals.

Scary stuff. Especially with technology available that can track our every move.

It doesn't mean that an attempt in world government would succeed but there are forces that want it for control and based on a exceptional opinion of their ideas for humanity and nations.

Can you imagine,

Who will run this?

Who makes the rules?

Who will enforce them?

What if we don't like it?

Where will the counterweight be?

What if we don't like it or aspects of it.

See, it's not democratic in principle and it would be based on a fallacy that "they" know what's good for us.

It's the closest that a human could go to having "God" like powers.

They only safeguard is a multi polar world. It may lead to friction but is a lesser evil.

Is this discrimination ? I'm not convinced at all. My wife has about 1/4 of the Super I have. She earned a lot less and worked less. I'm assuming if we were to get divorced she would get half my Super as well.

I think we call out discrimination way too easily.

Discrimination is deeply rooted in society and wage discrimination at the heart of it and currently $255/week less. Despite the wage cap closing, with flow on effects from the benefits of compound growth on superannuation over years making the disparity even worse. Showing below a 50% benefit for males over their female counterparts.

It is all basic mathematics, with the latest coalition policy further slanted towards allowing men more advantage. Current Labor housing policy is also utterly inadequate.

I didn't read your attachment on greed's role in voting as I am well aware of it, but please also don't underestimate the role it plays in voting habits of genders. Even a cursory look at statistics shows the divide.

All asset prices including house prices are dictated too not so much by real supply but by the global money supply.

I can't find the link because I read dozens of business articles daily and it was a couple of years ago but Australia's house price growth roughly followed Chinese house price growth since around 2000, because ultimately prices are dictated too by the highest bidder and wealthy Chinese siphoning money here meant we competed against them at auctions. The average worker could not compete against global money while globalization oppressed a workers wages.

Remember speaking to many real estate agents and the first thing they would tell you is that "We advertise in all the main overseas Chinese property media."

Hence the empty housing.

The divergence came in 2017 when the China government made it difficult for their citizens to move capital out of the country and since then our house prices have gone nowhere except for the artificial spike during lockdown again inspired by global QE capital flows.

What we could have done years ago is created laws like many Asian and other countries have where a non local can only buy 50% of property with a local. That would have totally changed house price dynamics.

If there is no treaty I'd suggest that this is another unsubstantiated conspiracy theory.

Things are definitely not always as they seem but I don't see any chance of us living in a commie state. Do you think anyone really falls for that BS now ?

Sad to say, we were not too far, and in the case of Shěngjí Xíngzhèngqū (Chairman's Dan Xi Province), in the middle of it during the covid hysteria:mad:

I agree that there is discrimination but I don't think it's anywhere near as simple as these blanket statistics state. My mum earned a lot less than my dad. My MIL didn't work. My wife earned a lot less than me.

All of these examples are though conscious decisions that have a consequence that is reflected in that statistic on wage discrimination.

The discrimination statistic on wage differentials does not reflect two people doing the same job and earning different pays based on their particular demographic.

I'm not stating that there aren't problems. I am stating that statistic does not represent solely the effect of discrimination.

This is widely accepted as truth, but in reality it's a furphy. It is less the result of discrimination and more the result of personal choices. If old mate decides to be a plumber and earns 120k and what's her name decides to be a childcare worker and earns 50k and they have different super balances as a result, that is not discrimination.
