Can’t be bothered going back to the the Eels forum to find out, but I am half interested to know if they have changed their tune. When we signed him, they claimed he only had one good year and that the 600k we‘re paying him is overs. Wrong on both counts. And the fact he hasn’t slacked off or even tried to get an early release in the off season is testament to the man he is. He could have pulled a swiftly and tried to come here early and earn triple what he’s currently on. But he didn’t. He kept his head down and decided to keep putting in for a third of the money.
