He statistically takes on the line about half as muck as Brooks, and breaks less tackles. He’s nowhere near the threat running the ball Brooks is.

Madden dug way into the line in attack and the chip and chase alone is something I’ve never seen Brooks do....ever!
I don’t mind brooks, he’s played pretty well the last month, but not we’ll enough ti block anyone coming through.
Madden was just as good as Hastings last night.
He deserves a contract for depth alone.

Talau has demonstrated you give him the ball on or near the quarter in a bit of space and he usually scores. The Storm wanted him because they can see his potential. I believe he will be a second row forward and a good player for the WTs if he decides to stay.

Brooks has done it more than a few times...
Not getting that result though, He usually gets bashed off the chase and we don't get the penalty.

Talau on 1 year depends on how much. If he doesn't play again this year it's not like another team will have a first grade contract for him, except maybe the desperate dolphins.

I'd be happy for him to stay on a low cost 1 year deal so he has a chance to come back from injury.

He is not better than DCE. If that were true Manly would not have taken the decision it did. Madden is a good young player. Brooks is one of our best.

Yes Twal carried a few last night but against the good teams apart from Musgrove, our forwards kind of jog up. Would kill for a Adrian Morley type without the suspensions. Run hard and get us on the front foot.

Also as soon as injuries come back then I want Peachey dropped. No discipline, no effort in defence. He can play reserves
