Wests Tigers Podcast - Hosted by Helmsey&Eddie.

A lot of sooking and followers about madge on westslifepod now.
Can't believe how gullible people are, the sky going to fall in. Oh, Api leaving, papali leaving, Hastings leaving,

Let's protest at Concord, couldn't deal with it.
Yeah was starting to like their podcast but after the last one I think they are peanuts

Couple of points.

I was very disappointed that not a single mention was made on the podcast of the naming of the Tommy Raudonikis Stand at Lidcombe on Sunday. Now I realise you are all Balmain blokes and have very little feel for the other side of our heritage but this was very poor form. Especially given your recent gushing segment re the Balmain Leagues Club story.

On Sunday, the name of the stand was unveiled prior to Wests State Cup game, with speeches made by Tommy’s widow - Trish, Rick Wayde, Tim Sheens and Mick Liubinskas.

Speaking of Mick, reminds me of another comment made on the podcast claiming you have to die to be removed from the WT board. Well Mick is living proof that this claim is untrue.

You are gold. I'm not stating I completely agree with you but I like that you swing for the fences and you do have a point.

Personally I don't care about Balmain vs Wests but the history of both clubs should be respected.

Sorry about that mate, personally I was unaware of naming of the stand, I nearly headed to the game on Sunday but had worked a 6 day 55 hour week and my wife would have murdered me lol

Also, feel free to send through topic ideas and news etc that you’d like us to discuss.

It wasn’t a conscious oversight, I had seen the posts on the Magpies Facebook page but between the game, the Sheens comments and a busy weekend it slipped my mind.
Slipped your mind ... mate it’s Raudonikis!
There has never been a greater figure in Wests folklore.

But spending half an hour reminiscing about an old building didn’t slip anyone’s mind last week.

Slipped the players mind twice last year when they ‘played for Tommy’. It’s not one of Wests Tigers 12 home grounds mate, it’s not that newsworthy

The Wests Tigers literally played at LO, I was there, I honestly didn't know anything about the Stand being renamed.

You clearly don’t consider Wests Tigers Flegg and Wests NSW Cup team to be part of the club. Because they both play at Lidcombe quite often (Including last Sunday).
