This is what we need coaches that develop young players not having them regress.

Maybe a new coach will entice a few of these players to sign.

Yeah, reckon that Blore is worth the chance of at least another season to show his wares, despite having had a couple of ACL injuries over several years.

See him as a reasonable 80 minute backrower with potential to be good and if we nab someone better, a good backup player at worst. Would almost certainly have been on our left edge throughout 22 if not for injury.

Doueihi is better than Brooks at 6.

Brooks could play off the bench. I think it comes down to how much money he will accept to stay here.

Doueihi at 13 is unproven. Will he fit there ?

If Doueihi can work out at 13 it'd be awesome because it'd solve what you do with Brooks. Just play him at 6.

I just look at the work Joe O does at 13 and I can't see Doueihi competing there all game.

You'd basically be playing 2 middle forwards and 2 6's running off Hastings.

It's worth a shot but I worry we already get smashed in the forwards at times.

I would agree if Nofoaluma plays only in the attack, however we don't have the luxury of having interchangeable teams, defence /attack like in the NFL.
Nofoaluma's defence, positioning and general read of the game is way below the NRL grade, and he in his extended 1st grade carrier did not show any improvement. So he is, IMHO, the weak point in the team and we finally (with the new coach?) must find a better solution - a better two-way player than him.

Technically allowed to talk to clubs in November

Rumours around that he’s not happy, maybe Barrett leaving played a part idk

Also is on around 500k - could command another 100-200k more imo

Ciraldo and Burton by all reports have a good relationship… also having a few former Penrith players here and a potential 6 jersey opening up helps too

My comment was based on the assumption (mentioned previously in the tread) that AD is still not available.
And I agree, if AD is available he would be there either as 5/8 or the RC.

Yeh he has potential but hasn't done much yet. Hastings also is doing well but reading reports about 700k+? Jeez he's an organiser but he hasn't had many try assists.

Jeez media and managers just pull numbers from their ass.
Yo be honest I think itl be Brooks last year this year or next. We need a change. A Burton style big body would be handy.

That's why he was sacked at Souths. The players revolted and management took action. Sounds familiar.
 
I thought the Recruitment Rule was.

Cant formally make any formal offers before November.

There's no way anyone can govern any Discussions prior to that. All the Smart clubs and player managers are doing it.
