Congrats Fans. We Take The Spoon Next Week.

Tigers win the spoon .. Someone has the honours to smack Brooks over the ass.
Keep hitting, the smacks must add up to all the mistakes he's accumulated.

Then save the best for last.

Pascoe's turn ..

But gotta make sure you apply enough whiplash, so the spoon breaks in half over his legs !
Such violence, I agree Brooks is not playing well but we shouldn't beat him to death, maybe a severe thrashing by a feather will be sufficient.🤣

As a former Western Suburbs Magpies supporter Wooden Spoons were common (17 in total).

1971,1983,1984, 1987,1988, 1998 and 1999 during my lifetime.

The whole organisation is a mess and can equally share the responsibility of the Wooden Spoon.

The thing I hate is the amount of hard earn cash we wall spend on membership, jerseys, transport, Foxtel and we want to see a team with passion, heart and soul but nothing.

One of the saddest days is when Magpies legend Tommy Raudonikis passed away and they still could not inspire themselves to win that week.

Sadly the wooden spoon doesn't mean the board will get a cleanout. The WA appointments are there as long as they like if I recall correctly.

And yeah, that game after Tommy called it a day was an utter disgrace. An absolute shithouse way to recognise a legend of one of the clubs that came to form WT.

Add to that the three from more modern times for Balmain 74, 81 and 94 and we have a long and proud history of failure.

We will not win another game this season , look at the draw
I’ve been looking at the draw in respect to our roster since the start of the year. Just imagine we didn’t get those two field goals. Wow

But even during those times we managed to make the semis more than once a decade when it was the top five. As for the respect this mob showed for Tommy that was piss weak.

I have been a Balmain boy all my life, however I had a good mate play for the Maggies in 78 he was a centre and played with Dallas and Tommy,,, W.Ross...he and I played at Turvey Park in Wagga when he got back...I loved the Magpies guts and determination..
THATS WHAT really peeved me off with the teams display that day...weak as piss and unforgivable...
