Wests Tigers Coaches

If I thought Maguire was singularly to blame for the position we find ourselves in I would have had no problem with the decision, but he walked into sh@# show and we are no closer to achieving success no matter how much money we have to throw around - fortunately the cap is in better shape than when Cleary jumped. The only positive is the signing of AK and IP - two signings that no other coach has been able to pull off.
If and when the decision makers at this club show some resemblence of following through on their vision about the what the future holds for this club then I will be the first to congratulate them until then it's all fluff and empty promises.

I supported Madge to the bitter end, at least until the end of the year and the evidence so far is that I was right.

But done is done. The book of Madge has been written, read and thrown out.

With all the handicaps, I thought his tenure might have resulted us in heading to 9th -12th this year. And maybe he did too. I am satisfied that he did do his best, even if his best didn’t amount to what we would have liked.

Tim said “ square peg in a round hole” and there may have been a smidgeon of truth there but alongside a lot more reasons. Reasons that Tim could or would not address. That’s understood.

I think Lee and the club have a deadline for cc.

For business and confidence reasons especially.

The features and benefits of coaching us have been well made out here.

If cc wants to be Gus’s puppet at the dogs, he should let us know ASAP.

Theres not a shred of evidence that any of the other coaching suspects will not be able to do the job.

Cc is a wish for all good reasons, but let’s not extend that desire to assume he will actually deliver.

I am genuinely surprised he hasn’t jumped on it already. If we bump him, he’s only got the dogs and they will have their way with him on all levels. He’s walking a thin line.

Anyway, we are only going to crack a good coaching outcome if we try. We will nail one sooner or later.

Lee says it's not true. I wouldn't get your hopes up just yet.

Our captain who knows him well from his Penrith days and others close to him have said they'll be very surprised if he leaves Penrith.

My guess is we'll end up with either a second tier coach like John Morris.
I don't think we'll be going backwards with Morris either.

Don’t agree Morris the ‘goldfish’ was just ridding on the coat tails of Flanagan. The only reason he looked good was from that and nothing else! Acquiring Morris would

Really? Who is your preferred coach if CC falls over then?

He's a lawyer. Might not be a deadline today but come tomorrow and there will be one. Don't trust him or gus. Wish they both put a sock in it.
Sister Mary was laying in the hospital taking her last breath, when Mother Superia asked her if she had a final request.
She replied that she would like two Lawyers present when she took her last breath, why asked Mother S uperai, I want one Lawer on my right side and the other on my left, I want to die like Jesus between two thieves.

That's a cracker BT

Last season Ciraldo told us in the post season what would be needed to get him to come over we have done that off field

And what exactly was needed to be done, that has been done? I can't think of anything that's really been done since then - think pathways program and staff were already appointed?

- Coach Sacked
- COE finished
- Win a comp with Penrith

Couldn't say - But there's a few different things.
Has also been reported that he wouldn't be chasing someone else's job...

I've moved on.
Can you please name those forum members your referring to Paws, name and shame them because if what you say is true then they are not true supporters.
I've moved on as well Cobar. I really have no idea what Paws is on about .
Seems to me he may well not know either :(.
And I agree 💯 with the name and shame :).

Reality unfortunately

There’s nothing to suggest Ciraldo is anything more than second tier himself. A lot of hype for him to live up to once he finally takes on a role. Historically, assistants at strong clubs don’f succeed out on their own.

I agree. He does appear to be the most sought after coach though despite having no experience as a head coach.
