Once you get rejected, other would-be coaches can afford to get a bit precious. They can aim for the Ciraldo deal. What can we say: “ You’re not as good” without any evidence?

If we are interested in Morris, there’s probably 3 or 4 others who are looking closely at his resume too.

This development theme we’ve embraced, I don’t think it does too much for recruiting marquee or players looking for success in the near future.

They are being asked to buy into something that presents itself as being undercooked and not ready. Still defrosting. Good players aren’t usually keen on that unless it’s for massive overs.

It’s a good crutch for Tim and the Board to excuse future failure and steels us fans for another year or two of failure or underperformance.

I might wrong, but that’s what people are saying.

We might have been better to say, we are building and talking to the younger crop of current internationals, origin players and those on the cusp.

Set the expectation to attract future quality players more quickly while we have the cash.

And coe is great but so is attractive non footy benefits and experienced.

Time well tell. Tim has a lot more knowledge of the options than I do.

It was disappointing to lose ciraldo, but we need a swift and resolute response.

imo a 5yr deal was dumb,it wass them not us,but it makes sense,it will take that long to shift the att e tood,lets not mention Madges magic wand,happy thoughts ,he was there to wake them up 2 what it i,some -heard

I’m still trying to understand how coaching recruitment works?
So, if two clubs sack their coach, we also sack ours, which gives us a better chance of getting a coach?
🤔 Knights and Titans didn’t sack their coach?
We’re now paying our coach to stay away.

No announcements as yet. Still working through the process. It is no different to any other recruitment. Applications have been received. There will be an interview process and ultimately Tim will make a recommendation to the Board.

There is no timetable in place. It is just a matter of making sure that we secure the services of the right person.
 
Can anyone confirm to whom the applicants were . Did someone say Walker Bros and Pay,surely we have more than 2 applications.
 
Seems no one except the way out left field options want the job so just get on with it .Appoint Noddy and fix the main problem which is the roster now !!
5 or so top class signings please Mr Sheens our Pack is not competitive and your fans ( which still number in top 6 ) are becoming dissillusioned
 
I applied for the job , I was willing to do the job for $200,000 per year , I was going to bring 5 of my under 16 teens . But as yet they have not contacted me , 🥴🤪👍
