No. Based on what? We don't know where the club is at with recruitment as it has not released advice.

Madge may well end up on his feet with all the vacancies available....the Titans would be a good gig for him for a couple of years...depends on family if they want to move....he certainly got a good effort out of the NZ team...

IMO Noddy shouldn't of even been given the Interim coach role.
His record as a Player is excellent and full credit to him as he knows the game inside n Out.
But his coaching record is not impressive at all and if the club gave him the FT job that would be the last straw and people would burn the place down.. He needs time to develop as assistant coach first and do his apprenticeship like others.

Yes Paws,but if you are going to sack your coach and view another to replace him,you are either getting a replacement or you have a number of back up plans....otherwise you end up the way we are looking STUPID to the general public and paying members ,fans.......

He hasn’t started well.

He’s a very smart guy but he’s now in his 70s and first time back in the NRL for 10 years.

The coaches available are all a downgrade on Maguire so there is going to be huge pressure to get this right. If things go pear shaped he might just head back to the UK and retire.

What is it that he hasn't started well.
I think your going to say the way we went public with CC.
Was all that on him, guess it was?
Maybe when Tim was running the show post 05 he didn't have social media and media frenzy as a whole.
I'd like to know who is on the selection panel, do you know?

BK is interim and the club hasn't told us what is happening about the new coach (as it should be). The Bulldogs have an interim coach and the Titans may have one shortly as well. I don't believe a recruitment process makes the club look stupid. There are many components to recruitment.
 
Clubs can keep sacking coaches in the lower half of the comp and all it does is make the stronger clubs stronger. You won't attract quality to clubs if the roster is weak - and the coaching merry go round wont fool them into believing that with out the calibre of players needed the coach will make a difference.
 
Apparently CC has a clause in his new Penrith contract agreement that he can agree to terms with another club as head coach before pre season starts next year, otherwise he stays with Panthers all next year. I personally think he would like Newcastle's gig as he does have some roots there and I don't think OBrian is safe with his job either. There is potentially 5 or 6 clubs that might be looking for another coach next year, crumbs for us then😭

That's why I think we need to get this done ASAP before we are left with Noddy...
If Morris was offered the job I am surprised he has not accepted it yet as it not often club approach you and more you apply and sell yourself.
