6 weeks ago we had a premiership winning coach willing to stay long term who had success literally at every other club he’d been at.

Now we’ve got people with no head coaching experience turning us down and rumours of even John Morris knocking us back.

Rock bottom was not 6 weeks ago, I think we’ve got a way to go. Looking forward to playing Parra and Penrith in the next couple of weeks.

The development coach idea has nothing at all to do with bringing in quality juniors. It's the whole system.

You reckon Bellamy somehow picks every single junior that comes to the club, Melbourne develop their players but I'm assuming they pick up the best junior talent from all over the place and Bellamy is across a small percentage of the players they pick up.

Spot on. I think we are now hitting rock bottom with no end in sight. There aren't too many players that appear to be playing for there future, knowing that a new coach is coming. I really don't know what a new coach is going to achieve here and I think those that have been approached will be asking themselves that same question after today's inept performance.

i think melbournes,and our development coach would have a lot more to junior signings then our 1st grade coach,as its there job,ps my bad,i was talking development club/not a coach
 
Surprisingly we've become more conservative under Noddy. You could see players actively saying not to pass and was about the most conservative I've ever seen us play.

Changed a bit with doueihi out there and chasing game late, but not much.

Our forwards get belted, so not sure how this style of play will work.

Things have not gone to plan since sacking Madge.

the club has such a stench attached to it,we have to fight our way out of the wet paper bag b4 those elite players would even glance at us,i see nothing wrong with getting mediocre players for another couple of years,unsure of salary cap finess,top the kids up,put all our efforts into them,and then they will come

There was no plan the numpties make it up as they go.
 
This has to be the lowest point for me as a fan and unfortunately it is going to get a lot worse in the next 4 weeks with Panther, Eels, Cowboys and Broncos ahead. . Wooden Spoon is 99.9% ours as this is just embarrassing now...

We MUST get this coach sorted this week so the players know who it is and we can start recruiting. I understand that Sheen's cannot come out and give updates to at least give us some good news but surely they know the pain we are going through.

Since before sacking Maguire too. 2022 was to progress on from 2021 with his first chance to really say 'this is my squad'. It went backwards, yes, injuries were a big factor, but the players on the field showed no development in skills or application or on field nous, and to be honest went backwards. That was on the coach.
