We will still need to cherry pick some ready made pros and also pray these young kids aren’t being over-hyped.

Yea definitely mate . At the least half those players will fail , and most likely only 3or 4 will be weapons . If we can get 6-7 from that crop , we’ll that’s a foundation for a great team . Which is why the next batch , basically 12 year olds right now is important .

He said the current squad will get a “chance” to play Sheens/Benji ball, and there has clearly been a recruitment problem. The honesty is very refreshing.

Whilst Kenty was trying to make Benji say he wasn't ready, Benji held his own and defended the club, but Benji did say one interesting thing when asked how can you improve this team. He said we will be playing a different style of footy that has been coached in to the team, we will encourage the players to trust their instinct, that right there was a shot at Madge and his coaching, and coaching a style that the squad can't play.

couldnt defend under a structure regime, lets wind it back 17 yrs, to the system that only worked once with bucketloads more talent...

Good luck to the trio.... i just hope the board can hold their nerve and stick to the 5 year plan and not start sacking them 2 years into plan.
Like Benji said on 360 fans are more interested in seeing the players put in week in and week out. Waited for 10 years for finals i can wait another 2-3 years for sustained finals appearances rather than the crash and burn appearances of the titans and knights.
