It’s the repeating principle of being walked on again we need to stop , this is a line in the sand moment for the club
I get that but we are a also dealing with one of the most in form players in the comp and if he digs his heels how far do we go to make a player come who doesn't want to?

How do you know this? I have read his comments and believe he is taking middle ground. No doubt the Eels are embarrassed he is the form second row forward in the comp and re-signed Brown ahead of him. I'd suggest he is acting on advice.

I don't know - Everything I discuss is from the same sources that all things are discussed on here - apart from the few who have other avenues. It stands to reason to me that it is very likely he would want to stay at Parramatta based on his form, where they are placed, and the fact that they have made provisions to increase his salary - compared to what we are offering.

Arthur made reference to this which does not reflect well on him or the Eels. Imo WTs will not allow the Eels to utilise this "allocation".

As far as it takes, can’t see how we’d lose, he’ll have no football and no pay if he digs his heels in, he has signed a legal contract, not a pretend one

it just proves signing contracts 18 months out doesn’t work.

The player either signs and then angles an immediate release on more money, or reneges on the contract if their value improves.

In theory it sounds great but no one in the game wants to see a quality player not playing other than disgruntled WTs supporters. It won't sit well with anyone players or managers - especially when most can understand why he has reservations. First big challenge for Benji and Sheens - but Parra are not going to go away with this and you would have to assume that's where he feels most connected.
