Our recruitment manager I read has I high regard for him and tried to sign him from Forbes (I believe). If we sign him, he is good depth and adds a lot of pace to the backline and comes from a very good system.

Imo Staines has incrementally improved. I have no info on his price but did read the WTs had concerns about the figure. Perhaps an agreement has been reached with the Panthers?

Hastings was an unsung hero yesterday. Laurie, Brooks and the front row got the glory but Hastings was everywhere. Lots of meters, topped the tackle count, very high energy. We gotta keep him. He gives a shit.
