Our recruitment manager I read has I high regard for him and tried to sign him from Forbes (I believe). If we sign him, he is good depth and adds a lot of pace to the backline and comes from a very good system.

I agree - He plays better at Fullback than Wing...
Also watched him at the Internationals.

Even if we pay half of his kit next year, The year after he's not looking for a decrease in Salary... Not to where he's at market value wise.

Hastings was an unsung hero yesterday. Laurie, Brooks and the front row got the glory but Hastings was everywhere. Lots of meters, topped the tackle count, very high energy. We gotta keep him. He gives a shit.
