Manly is in chaos just 72 hours out from its game against the Sydney Roosters, with a report suggesting numerous players may pull out over the club’s inclusive jersey.

The Daily Telegraph is reporting that up to seven players won’t wear the jumper on religious grounds. The players also claim they weren’t consulted about wearing the jumper.

An emergency players' meeting has been moved up to Monday night. With the Sea Eagles in ninth, Thursday’s clash with the Roosters presents as season-defining.

The upset players have reportedly told their managers they will pull out of the game if forced to wear the jumper.

Jason Saab, Christian Tuipolutu and Josh Aloiai are understood to all be against wearing the jersey.

Manly was set to become the first club in the NRL’s 114-year history to wear a diversity-celebrating jersey.

If they don't want to play on religious grounds then the precedent was set with AFLW player Haneen Zreika. Will be interesting to hear each player's thoughts on the matter.

Prosperity Christians... It's OK to take money from piss and gambling which creates so many issues in society, can't wear the rainbow jersey but.

Ian Roberts would smash any Manly player currently running around for them.
They can stand themselves down from a game based on a belief they can't even prove is real or exists but can't play based on their belief that gays are faking it when they can't possibly understand a gay persons personal feeling

The very reason I cannot stand religion on any grounds

Sorry to anyone I offend but that's my feelings on the matter

Tell the 7 to explain their feelings on gays to Ian and see if they have the guts to do it
