Manly Inclusive Pride jersey backlash

As good as the causes are not many other codes worldwide chop and change their outfit.

Whenever I see the WT run on with a "cause " jumper the first thing that runs through my mind is that it's a lesser match.

Gee, as a historical JV we don't even have those retro weeks anymore.

And quite frankly I don't even like "away " strips.

I think you need to have a very important talk with the players who have issues, there will be plenty more in the NRL like that.

The first thing is, what do they have an issue with? Where do they draw the line? Ok so having a jersey that has represents the LGBTQ community is not ok apparently, so is it ok to have that logo around the club, on the walls, in the email signatures etc? Do they feel ok with a member who identifies with that community working within the club?

What if the logo was made mandatory by the NRL for every club?

Where do they draw the line? What do they find ok and what do they not?

All NRL clubs and admins put out fires when they come instead of getting on top of it early, let's see how every club handles it.

You are correct. They've done the right thing.
Not sure about this.
When Hasler was reading his speech out, I immediately thought of the speech given in Home Alone 2 when the older brother was apologizing for acting like a tool to the family and they all bought it.....
Why was Hasler the one that had to face the media? Why didn't any upper management choose to be front and centre?

Someone may need to recalibrate Josh Aloiai's moral compass. The bible may not explicitly state 'thou shall not stab youth leaders at religious shindigs', but it's at least implied.

Geez - that is bad. He is actually there supporting a dude who witnesses saw stab another man.

This is not like the bra boys instance years ago when Sutton supported his mate who killed a man who was going to rape a woman.

I reckon Aloiai is a really good player but his moral compass clearly is a mess.

I am confused. This Round is called The Women in League Round so Manly decide to whack a clear LGBTIQaBC+# message on their Jersey. Manly - so far from Bondi & Oxford Street! Pathetic.
Probably the Manly club is being paid big money for wearing the jersey. Us plebs don't know far Front office would go and how they would get spend just to get their own selfish ways.

Do you know why his is supporting him. Your moral compass maybe a mess because you don't know why Aloiai is supporting him.

My take is they've done the right thing because they tried to provide support to a minority group and in the process they've exposed a societal issue that needs to be addressed.

They don't have a CEO atm so I suppose Des was the one left with the hot potato. I feel for the dude.

Can you explain to me why he is there ?

If not I refer to the initial comment.

Attacking and stabbing someone to me is morally wrong especially if the reason for doing it was you were just kicked out of a church dance party for fighting.

That is just me though mate. You might have a different opinion.

Definitely not. Those views are abhorrent. That is like asking should you respect any viewpoint that is discriminatory.

There is no excuse for bigoted viewpoints within society.

Not at all.
Your pretty hot on inclusion but no inclusion for the Manly boys? I would be careful about using the word hypocrite if I was you.

You are right. I think Manly should be punted. After Manly I'd like to see the Rorters and then Penrith and then a bunch of other clubs punted.

Is that what you are referring too ?
