I would like to see Madden be given the Number 7 jersey for the rest of the season to prove himself as the main man going forward or not.

Like most on the Forum I believe Luke Brooks is a decent NRL player but not really a half back to lead a struggling club to glory. I think too many of us look at his huge contract value (not his fault) and then compare him to other million dollar players like Hunt, DCE, Ponga, etc.

Running 5/8 or is it too late to convert to a Centre. He is quick, can tackle and another kicking option if halves are caught with ball on the 5th. Has great lateral movement.

Just for laughs, I’d like to see him given a hit at fullback.

He’s certainly fast enough and has a good passing game to play out the back with an ability to put in the odd grubber to take pressure off the kickers.

Not going to happen, but would be interesting to see.

He's is off to Newcastle for 3 years and the Knights have agree to take over his remaining WT contract in whole. They also are giving us Gagai for nothing to sweeten the deal.

Someone mentioned this a while back and I thought it was stupid but the more I thought about the better it sounded. The problem is Laurie suddenly put in a great performance last week and if he continues in that vein he owns that spot.

If he keeps that up he goes to elite player level. That is why I think it's good to get Staines because he would be a great alternative if Laurie can't find form.

Yeah, but still gets paid up to November, 16% less work to do and gets to enjoy Mad Monday sooner if he comes here.

Parra (sites) still a fair chance to get bundled out of the 8 so the advantages of coming to the Wests Tigers that I have outlined above may not eventuate.
