Brisbane Meet & greet.

I don't want anyone who went to feel bad, good on you! I just think it's rich of the club to collect membership fees from out of towners then charge that much and presumably not include a lot.
Membership fees are just seasoned ticket holders mate.
I got my monies worth with my merchandise and game tickets for my membership.
Functions like this don't have much to do with it.
As I've said somewhere else, I'm sure you've been to open training sessions where you can meet the players for nothing. This is a bit different.
It was at the Town Hall, food and an environment where you can sit down and have a yarn.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and it looked like others did too.

Hi cobar
Did you speak to any of the halves??? If so did you hint a short chip and chase ???
Sorry garrry, I didnt ask that exactly but I did say to BK that we looked like we were trying to play expansive football against the Cowboys and was that something we are trying to do from now on.
He said "Yeh we are training that way, looking for slightly less predictable plays"

Why are most people so negative on the forum.
Did it involve you? Probably not. Same ol people having a winge.
I know it's hard to find something positive about WT atm but you won't find it sitting at home behind a keyboard and complaining all the time. Bad for your health 😁
I admire those who go to pathway games and watch out for talent or get behind the team in other ways.
For those who went I'm sure they had fun, I did.
Chill a little bit.

Sorry for the double up as I posted this already in the wrong topic.
The night was worth every cent. I spoke personally to every player except those who didn't make the trip.
It was more like a sportsman's like function...food, drinks, a couple of guest speakers, players signing stuff and raffles for signed jersey and corporate seats to the Broncos game.
I asked Kimmorley what's going to happen with him next year and he said he will be in charge of developing the step up.
I figure that means picking the eyes out of juniors and getting them ready for NRL.... development in other words. Nothing new but at least it's confirmed.
The best thing is Kelma told me he has not signed with Manly who are putting on the squeeze. He said he's waiting to see what WT come up with.... interesting. I thought he had signed.
He said he wants to stay šŸ˜šŸ¤” I told him I'd throw in 10 bucks and begged him to stay..we had a laugh.
The coach told me in the morning there is no training, just a walk with shoes on...no earthing 😁
Spoke a lot to Daine Laurie and chatted about his and my indigenous rellies, it was worth coming here just for this.
Whilst talking to a group they said Noffa is definately coming back for preseason training.
Junior T's birthday and on stage with all the boys he blew the cake candles out.
James T said he really wants to be apart of the team next year because he loves the boys and he sees them building something special.
Daine was cheaky as, when Joffa was asking the fans for any more questions, Daine said "I have one, do you have any of that ringworm cream left" crowd laughed.
Joffa when interviewed about the heartbreaking loss to the Cowboys said the boys drowned their sorrows at the mad cow nightclub.
I'll post up a couple of pics tomorrow and any more gos that crops up.

P.S. One of the most athletic dude surprisingly was Starford To'a.

Bhahahahaha šŸ˜† 🤣 šŸ˜‚

Sounds like you had a good time at the meet n greet mate. Good for you.
I think you’ll find attitudes will become more positive when the club stops making stupid decisions and it reflects on a consistently competitive on field performance. It’s a grieving process they need to go through. Unfortunately some on here have been in a bad mood for 10 years. 🤣

It's a mindset.
You can find a positive in most things.
Like James T sitting beside an very old tiger supporter last night chatting about the old days.
Or watching Naden showing off his little baby to the supporters.
I love the tigers.... it's a mindset, attitude.
