Brisbane Meet & greet.

Because the hiring of a venue and putting the food on is not free…

It’s not a fan day mate, it’s a club function…
They cost money - always have
"Photographs, autographs, and mingling" - for kids to meet the players. It sounds like a fan day unless they were offering a sit down meal, drinks and a presentation of some sort.

The club pays Brooks $40,000 a game, surely they can afford a few hundred to hire a venue for a night and a tray of sausages as a way of thanking out of town fans. The tiny outlay would be repayed by the fans tenfold.

So now you want the footballers to hire u a venue and shout you a feed. Wow

keepsake photos all in one place.
THOSE THAT ATTENDED , MORE POWER TO YOU WTs

Been to plenty of fan days - very rarely are they done at a venue (that costs money) with free food (that also costs money)
Have been to the out of town meet and greets - they’re usually a great night and you can see why they cost a few bucks..
They’re usually catered with wait staff etc…

We’ll have to disagree on this. There would be no shortage of reasonably priced rooms to have it. $20 maybe but $70 is nuts. You’d want Jackson Hastings hand-feeding you for that money. I think it’s a shonky way to treat interstate fans.
