The difference with this one and Papali'i may well be that by all reports Kelma hasn't has a signed contract registered with the NRL, as per @Cobarcats sneaky little sleuthing and Manly's lack of any form of announcement. Whereas Isaiah is signed, sealed and delivered.

Papalii is the number one Second Rower in the competition. Given WT have so much extra money top up his three year contract some more. We need players like him coming to the club sends out a good message to other players.
I hope Kelma stays as I feel he could be a very good player with Papalii and Blore around him. Just needs to learn to play for the 80 mins.
I would be very happy with a Brooks and Klemmer swap. Could be a win/win.

Yeh, maybe, they obviously freed up as much as possible with Luciano, Mikaele, Nofo and now Gildart all being released or loaned. That's a bit of coin, likely in the 4-500k range.
I'd say most of that will be channelled into the Luke Brooks problem though.

The Brooks verse Madden thing is a no brainer. Wehave Hastings and AD as our principle play makers. So the question do you spend 800g on Brooks or 400g or less on Madden. Pretty simple really we use Madden in the 7 role and have change to upgrade some quality kids or buy a NRL standard player.
Ok Brooks may be better footballer at this stage, but that’s highly debatable, but we don’t need three playmakers. We just need a no7 to feed the ball and do some kicking.
