NRL success is built on effectivness of the forward pack and high quality defence.
We have neither.
Therefore I refuse to make judgement on our backline players until I see them perform with required platform that forwards need to provide.

Respectfully disagree. He'll likely be wanting more than I think he is worth.

Great at kicking bombs, but really doesn't do enough imo.

I'd like them to re-sign him for a reasonable amount to give him half of next season (he has had a reco after all) to show what he's got, but at this stage I'd personally prioritise Ofahengaue and Hastings over him by some margin.

Just my opinion; It's natural for people to have different opinions and I respect that of those who think they should re-sign him. 😊

I think that's a very good point. The only player in recent times to do so is Hastings.

Whoever is responsible for extending the contract of AD get it DONE YESTERDAY.
There are 15 other clubs out there that would sign him him in a heartbeat💓💓💓 and Melbourne's audacious bid to get him for the remainder of this year shows how highly regarded he is in the game .
Everyone on this Forum let the club know your feelings on this subject.

I would give Laurie a run at 5/8 if he wants it. While AD has a strong running game, he lacks vision. He's like Luke Brooks in that regard, but at least Brooks is a reliable defender.

I like AD but think Hastings number 1 priority, Offa and Laurie tied for second and AD not far behind. Really impressed with Laurie since Sheens has taken more of an active role
