One of the things (amongst many) we lack

Lucky we extended all those outside backs....
They've really shown they deserve it.
Kepoa has absolutely zero footy IQ.

He, literally, is an athlete who is in that spot due to being pushed ahead of kids as he is bigger.

But he has never actually learnt the game. Submits in a tackle...and forgets to grip it tight. Absolute under 6s stuff.

I think they are good extensions. To'a and Kepaoa can make a bust and do the job.

We are just an unprofessional footy team and this thread is exactly where the problem lies.
Kepoa is no good.

He got bullied badly today.
Then threw a tantrum, calling people homophobic stuff.

Should follow Kelma to Manly.
But no, we extended him. 🤦🏻

This is unacceptable. It's also just so stupid.

He has some talent but maybe he is just too stupid to realize his potential.

I think he has more upside than toa but makes so many more mistakes

Congratulations, now you know why Sheens is not coaching this year. But just the same happy to sack Madge based on results, because it’s a results driven game.

He knew he was tanking this season.

I think it's wrong but if we make the finals next season it's fine. The problem is though we are playing worse than ever and it impacts our ability to recruit and retain talent.

The whole club needs to realize it's professional footy.

I like To'a as well. They can both make a bust and score a try. I'm fine with them as our centres if we get better players around them and they play smart team first footy.

We need consistent players who don't have a negative impact.

Spot on comment Demps. Don't know why we rushed to sign them because it's not as if other clubs would have been chasing them. This club makes dumb decision after dumb decision. I'm guessing they thought it would get the fans off their backs by announcing some signings but the fans were looking for quality players coming to the club not resigning players that are already part of the problem.

This year might've create a whole new level of unhinged for the supporter base, but it's helped produce some solidarity and has been a little validating that no coach, individual player or carefully constructed plan will get us out of trouble alone.
A soft forward pack, inadequate backs (for the speed of the game) and halves unable to take ownership of the team (and control of the game) is unfortunately a team deserved of the wooden spoon.

My highlights was the Easter Monday miracle, with the effort from the Cowboys game a close second. But if I've learned anything it's that we're just not coming together as a team and our consistency is terrible for an NRL team. Surprisingly there was fight in us when not expected but not enough leadership.
I can forgive the mistakes and poor efforts from the inexperienced players and believe Doueihi or Laurie crumbling under a pressure is symptomatic of our deficiencies.
Tbh I'm relieved it's coming to an end.

Let's not forget the preceding play of kicking on the third tackle by Adam when the only potential result was a repeat set. The outside backs weren't in position to challenge for a try.

No issues with that. He was building pressure. He didn’t expect his teammate to let a short dropout hit his foot.
