I don’t see why, a plan was put in place, noddy accepted the job knowing what was going on. They all said from the get go that they are all concentrating on preparing for next year and that noddy was the coach for the remainder of the season. I don’t see an issue at all.

Can't support what happened after Maguire was sacked. Round 14 you are not preparing for next year you should be preparing for the next game.

This year was gone, done and over while Maguire was in charge.

And so it should be - our defence last 2yrs the worst it has ever been in our history with not much improvement.

2019 - 6th worst with 486 (20.25pg)
2020 - 4th worst with 505(25.25pg)
2021 - 2nd worst with 714 (29.75pg)
2022 - 2nd worst with 679 (28.92pg)

I’d suggest our paper thin defence has very little to do with coaching and a lot to do with the roster and their lack of desire.

I’m sure they were never coached to have zero line speed.

But it’s doing something different to what we have been churning out the last ten years so I’m willing to give it a chance. I believe there is a plan and noddy was onboard as is sheens for the next two years to cop the crap that will come in trying to turn this team around… but hey, I’m an optimist so sue me.

Saw in paper today buzz ripping I'm to SEN poor ratings again.

Sadly, the season was already over, and Maguire with his mediocracy and non imaginative players selection/ game plan done everything to won us the spoon. I trust Sheens more than Madge and Ciraldo, the one that never coached the NRL team, and was selected by the Footy show celebrity that never done anything good for the WT.
Finally someone said enough is enough, and we will hopefully see a significant number of players packing, the worst being Brooks, and Nofoaluma, players that had 10+ years to show they deserve to play for the WT!
Brooks's plays in the attack, his short passes and especially short kicks were at under 7s level, and arguably the worst in the NRL!
Nofaluma's defence was by miles the worst defensive player in the NRL, and this weakness was exploited game after game!

Don’t agree both players that u mention are playing behind a weak pack that are powder puffs! No backs are playing well behind that lot. Not to mention Fadges Taylor ball style attack, that also doesn’t help.

I swear some people honestly believe that a coach controls from the box every attacking play during the game. Great attack stems from players who can react instinctively during the game. Every team takes 5 hit ups and bombs throughout a game. The difference between good attacking teams is the players on the field who have the courage confidence skills and know how to execute when the opportunity arises.
